This week is a special Top Ten anniversary post and I decided to go with Top Ten Books Set In Other Countries. It just looked like a good topic. This won't be my top ten of ever necessarily, since that would take time to produce, but rather these are just ten books that came to mind as I was perusing my shelves or online. They're all books I've read.
"Killing November" looks familiar as if I've read about it before. Also, I still need to read Jenna's books!! Hopefully I'll remedy this before her third novel releases this fall. :)
ReplyDeleteNice. I don't know any of these books. Where do these stories take place?
ReplyDeleteI lived in Italy for three years, but I've never read Love & Gelato. I probably should someday. So many books, so little time!
ReplyDeleteAs much as I love Lisa Jewell, I still haven't picked up I Found You yet. I need to make that happen!
ReplyDeleteI added The Blue to my TBR because of you, and I really need to make time for it!
ReplyDeleteBoth Love and Gelato and Love and Olives sound like such fun summer reads, I really want to read them soon! Killing November also sounds so good.
ReplyDeleteLove & Gelato is my next read! I've just finished The Great Godden and I've had Love & Gelato on my library pile for a couple of months, I really need to get them read before my library reopens.

Great list and topic choice this week! Those Welch books look super cute and summery 😍 I always stop and stare at the covers when I come across them! Lol
ReplyDeleteI really need to read Love and Gelato sometime.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT .
Hi Greg!! Yea!!! Kindred Spirits here....I also remembered the prompt about books set in different countries and re-did my 10 books set in South Africa (home brew).
ReplyDeleteI am saving this post, because next year I want to do a reading challenge of books set all over the world. This list is going to help me.
Here's my TTT Ten Books set in SA
Those "Love &" books are some of my favorites. I am really excited to go to Greece this time.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great list for the pandemic, since it makes me want to travel!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea for today. I always take away something when I read books set in another place in the world.
ReplyDeleteGreat topic! I would have liked to know which countries they were set in. :-) Besides Love and Gelato and Love and Olives I had no clue where the other books were set. Enjoy your week.
ReplyDeleteI don't care for traveling but I like traveling in books. I haven't read any of these books so no idea where any of them are set but I'm sure it's somewhere I have never been.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day.
Fun! I love books that are set in countries other than the United States - since that's where I live. It's fun to travel this way. :)

Always a good topic for a list of books! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat She Saw sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteHere is our Top Ten Tuesday.
Great list! I haven't heard of most of these, I'll have to check them out.
ReplyDeleteCan I just say that the lady on that top cover already looks caught? LOL
ReplyDeleteI might have to give After the Lights Go Out A Try. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteCheck out my TTT
Ahhh!!! How did you like Love & Olives?? Great topic! :)
ReplyDeleteShe has a wicked past and no future, and might also be the most flexible person ever given her position. Unless she's dead? Is she dead? This cover is giving me sso many questions Greg! I like your choice of TTT, I know some of these covers, and the others make me *need* to know more about them!
ReplyDeleteThey are all new to me, but some of them are really looking good. I need to check them and see if I can read one - as if my TBR wouldn´t be big enough *lol* Thank for sharing them and happy reading.
ReplyDeleteCrazy tagline!
ReplyDeleteI still need to read Love & Gelato...
Here's my TTT list.
Your list reminds me that I still haven't read Killing November. I really need to get to that one soon.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't decide which topic to re-do so I just threw together the latest books I bought which wasn't very creative!
ReplyDeleteThat was a good topic indeed Greg!
ReplyDeleteWith exception of the Welch books, I had no idea the other books were set in other countries. 😯
