  5. I'm a HUGE fan of thrillers, but I've only heard of the last two on your list! Going to check some of these out on Goodreads now - thanks for the recommendations.

I recommended books for reluctant readers for this week's topic.

  7. I've seen these books quite often on your posts recently. I don't read thrillers unless they have a big horror tilt in them so I haven't read any of these.

  8. It seems like there have been lots of thrillers lately, and so many of them seem to center on a woman who is isolated socially. I wonder what that's about.

This is a great list! Thank you.

  10. I've not had the best luck with thrillers lately and have been taking a little break from them since reading Final Girls. However, I love the covers of some of these, especially the ones featuring water. Great topic.

  11. I don't read many adult thrillers, but I should. Whenever I pick one up I am completely absorbed. They all sound pretty mysterious and intriguing, I'd have trouble choosing one!

    1. You're right, not many of these are YA (in fact I think I thought Girl From The sea was gonna be YA, but I guess it wasn't technically) that's a good point- hadn't even considered that! They are all mysterious though, to one degree or another. :)

  16. I kinda took a break from thrillers because I ended up hating all the characters and I needed something cheerier! I do occasionally pick one up if it sounds like it has some crossover with something else I like.

  20. Love your topic choice this week!! I always love a good thriller. I really enjoyed Gone Without a Trace - a lot of good twists in that one. I have a few of these on my TBR already (I Found You and The Woman in Cabin 10), but looks like I need to add more! I just started The Girl Before, hopefully it's a good one. I don't see it on your list so I'm hoping that's just because you haven't read it. ;)

    Here's my TTT this week.

  23. I love Thrillers!! i'm adding all of these to my list-- especially THE GIRL FROM THE SEA. That sounds twisty!!

    ReplyDelete
  24. The only one of these I've read is The Girl From The Sea. I don't know what I think of the ending of that book. It seems to be a popular thing to pull that twist and I just don't know what I think of it.

    1. I know what you mean. I liked it because it worked for me in the context of that story, and some of the things that came after I was like- dang. But I can see where it wouldn't work for everyone.

  25. Dang I forgot TTT was coming back online this week from the month-long break! Mysteries and thrillers are my favorite genre so I'll have to write up a post and post it tomorrow! I'm going through all these titles you've listed and checking out their goodreads page. I'm always looking for new ones! The Girl From the Sea caught my attention the most just because of your "killer twist" comment!

  34. I do not pick up enough thrillers. I did, however, finally pick up The Woman in Cabin 10 this summer. There is something so haunting about Emma in the Night's book cover. I must look into it more.

  35. I'm not usually a Thrillers reader but some of these look really interesting! I'll have to look into some of them! http://thelittlebookblog.blogspot.com/2017/08/top-ten-tuesday.html

  36. What She Saw looks amazing! I'm such a wuss, though. I have to be really careful or I'll freak my lives-only-with-cats-and-mice-self out and never sleep again. lol

  37. It's so cool when people's TTT lists are full of books that I've heard of.

The cover for Friend Request made me shudder. That's exactly the kind of thriller I'd like to read, so you may have convinced me to pick it up. :)

  41. Hey TTT - welcome back! I've been dying to read the Woman in Cabin 10 - not sure why I haven't picked it up yet, dang it! I also like the looks of The Blue and The Girl from the Sea. Obviously I like me some books that take place on the ocean:)!

  42. ok ok ok... I'll read mysteries! :D how couldn't I??? look at your list. All the covers look so good first ALL THAT BLUE :) and the settings so mysterious, and the faces always hidden and the image blurry. I know I sound shallow, but it does work for me!!! I'm a marketing dream target :) LOL

  45. I haven't heard of ANY of these nor the authors (that I remember). That said, OHMYWORD, some of this cover design is amazing. 'Emma' and The Blue are both amazing, and I love how the clouds overlap with the text on I Found You. Great set of book covers. :)
