So here's a midweek round up of what I'm reading watching, etc. Plus Can't Wait Wednesday, hosted by Wishful endings. So sit back, raise a cuppa, and see what's new! And share what you're up to.
This week my Can't Wait pick is Before Mars.
What I'm Reading
What I'm Watching
Misc Stuff
Before Mars reminds meof a horror cover and not sci-fi, so I am curious. It's very striking! What's Altered Carbon like??
ReplyDeleteI actually think Before Mars looks like a sci-fi novel and the creepy element is just a nice plus. I like that touch a lot, great pick this week!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, here's my WoW :)
Oh nice! That's a totally new to me one! Sounds intriguing too! Hope you love it once you read it!

I've only seen three seasons of The Walking Dead. I haven't watched any of Fear the Walking Dead as it has had very mixed reviews.
ReplyDeleteI'm curious about This Fallen Pretty! I have had good luck with Kelley Armstrong's YA books (specifically the Age of Legends series) and I've always wanted to try her adult books. Happy reading, Greg!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day. =)

Oh, I'm loving the cover of This Fallen Prey!
ReplyDeleteI'm super excited for Before Mars! And I've heard good things about Altered Carbon, one of these days I'll check it out😊
ReplyDeleteWe're watching Altered Carbon, too! Well, I'm half-watching and reading at the same time - it's a little weird for me!
ReplyDeleteI'm curious about Altered Carbon. The Kelley Armstrong books are calling me. This series especially looks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, Before Mars sounds awesome. And FTWD and Riverdale are two of my favorite shows!
ReplyDeleteHere's my WOW http://jennreneeread.blogspot.com/2018/02/waiting-on-wedenesday.html
Before Mars has an interesting cover. Is the planet disintegrating or what? I'm not a big fan of zombies, so The Walking Dead stuff is not my favorite. Give me witches and wizards and vampires and werewolves. LOL
ReplyDeleteSo are you liking the new season of Riverdale? I'm kind of thinking it's a hot mess. I'm still watching it but I definitely liked Season 1 better. I've been seeing Before Mars around and bet it will be quite popular.
ReplyDeleteI have Altered Carbon in my watchlist, it looks really good. Gonna watch it when I'm done with The 100! Young age a great pick this week. ☺
ReplyDeleteBefore Mars sounds intriguing! And that cover is really eye-catching! I'm hoping to watch Altered Carbon soon. It looks good!
ReplyDeleteOooh! Lots of great books you picked! I need to read some of Kelley Armstrong's books soon!

The Breakfast Club was such a huge part of my teen years (all John Hughs films for that matter). That clip is awesome! I am seeing the Kelly Armstrong book everywhere! I hope you are enjoying it.
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for Before Mars! And I'm hoping to start the Netflix Altered Carbon series soon. I enjoyed the book, curious to see how the show adapts it.

This Fallen Prey sounds really good. And yay for The Breakfast Club. I need to rewatch that movie soon. It's a favorite, both for the story and for the music.
ReplyDeleteBefore Mars sounds good! I want to watch Altered Carbon, but I don't have Netflix. :-( Need to figure out how to hook up my mom's account to my tv. Great pick! Thanks for stopping by my CWW earlier!
ReplyDeleteOh I LOVE the cover of Before Mars! Have to look that one up. This Fallen Prey looks good too- creepy cover! I love the poster for FTWD too, I hadn't seen it before. I'm sad that we're almost done and will have to wait until April ugh. ANDREW, that is Emilio's name! Whatever, he'll always just be Emilio.
ReplyDeleteI adore the cover for Before Mars!
ReplyDeleteI stopped watching Fear of the Walking Dead at the beginning of the last season. I hear the show got better too, which is often the case when I give up on a show. Haha. I am looking forward to Newman's new book. I still need to read her previous one. I hope you are enjoying Armstrong's book! Have a great weekend, Greg--and week.
