Sunday Post



So this week I have a color guard competition to go to for Michigan State on Sat. That's about the only thing this weekend. 

I'm thinking of doing a Discord server. Actually I've had one since 2016, just never used it. I know some book bloggers have them but don't know how much they're used. I think it'd be fun, you could do group reads, readalongs, votes for things like livewatches or Movies That Suck.

    Color guard competition? That's something I haven't heard before, had to look it up. I guess it must be fun to watch. Hope you'll enjoy that.

    Color Guards are fun. It has been a while but we had a great competion at our high school. And a very rewarding turn out too. I hope you have fun! DANG! The cars! How did I forget that one! Really, I don't think I knew the title of any their songs and yet I knew it was them when they came on the radio! Cool book cover too!🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🐉🐉🐉🐉💕💕💕💕 It is interesting how we are when we are young and out on our own with friends. Thankfully, I never had anyone to come over who wouldn't come over, but our neighbors had some vistors from out of town and they stayed a month. I heard all about it from their five year old who always liked to hang at our apartment at the time. Perhaps, I was just as bad off, but I was taking a class where I had to do give kids IQ test. Of course, at the time he thought my husband was my father and he would always drop by and ask, "Can your daughter come play with me?" I have a feeling I would have made a great bartender as many stories I have listened to over the years.

      I hope the color guard competition is going well. Didn't get to go to the Happy Buda, but maybe this week. I doubt I watch the superbowl. ❤️🤍🩷❤️🤍🩷❤️🤍🩷 Thanks for your comments!     Do you coach or do one of your children do color guard? I tell you, there is some impressive stuff out there. One of my sorority sisters had two kids that did color guard and the routines and costume and tricks were amazing. I hope you have an incredible time.

    I’ve just had to google what color guard is because I had no idea. More plans than I have anyway. I’m doing chores around the house and playing Stardew Valley and I’m pretty happy with that.

    I do not understand discord at all. I tried to figure it out but didn't get very far and gave up! Enjoy the color guard competition. Those are always so fun to watch. I love the cover for the Agatha Christie. I've read that book and I'm pretty sure that that scene does not happen but it's eye catching! Have a great week!

    I have an account on Discord (and almost everywhere else) but I never got it. I just don't understand it. I hope it works for you. We are ignoring most of the big events this week and going to the zoo on Thursday.

    I hope the color guard competition went well! My cousin's daughters are both in their high school color guard. I haven't seen them perform live because they live on the East Coast, but I do enjoy seeing the videos my cousin shares. I am not overly familiar with Discord although I have an account. I belong to one group, but I don't frequent it often. I am not even sure it's active all that much anymore. I hope you have a great week, Greg!

    I was in marching band but I could never have done the color guard. I'm not that coordinated! I love watching the Olympics too but they're always so difficult to stream. Enjoy your week!

    I'm going to go back and read your Game of Thrones post after I finish watching the final season. It will probably be later this week. I don't know how much the books and TV show are alike so I don't want any spoilers, but I'm looking forward to reading your post. Maybe I should even be reading the books.

    I don't really use Discord a lot, but I hear more authors using them nowadays. I didn't realize some bloggers use them too. It does sound handy for some things like group reads.

    I've been really curious about Discord. I miss the good old days with Twitter. If I could find something that's similar, I'd be down. If you do make your server public or whatever, let us know. :D

    I'm late! I hope your competition ended well! I mean, I don't know if you or your daughters were competing, or you simply went to see a competition because you like it.

    Not going to do this Discord thing LOL. My hands are already too full...

    I have only looked at Discord a couple of times. I think I'm starting to get to an age where technology is going faster than I can adjust to. It's sad to say.
