Another week, friends. I'm trying to catch up on Riverdale and still watching walking tours. This week I have some treats- a snowy village with some anime that might be familiar and snow monkeys! I just want to thank Jessicabookworm also for making me aware of these- I post them pretty much weekly now but before she mentioned them in her Sunday Post a while back I never really knew they existed. As far as reading goes, I'm still reading Songs of the Deep and am almost finished! It's very atmospheric. And yes Roberta and Shannon I am reading it!!
Also I posted my third Dystopia Playlist this week. You can find that here.
Thanks for introducing me to great artist Hannah Stewart. Great sounds, and that animation was really cool

ReplyDeleteObviously the snow monkeys delighted me. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI love the snowy village video, and the music is calming 😁
ReplyDeleteWow, that Instagram vid is some gorgeous artwork. Have bookmarked those profiles for revisiting, thanks. And on the pulp fiction cover for the week, haha -- how did you manage to find such a clear version? It even has a Hawaiian PI!

Those monkeys look a little lost in all that snow.

One would think her other arm would have fallen off the bed. She died very prettily
ReplyDeleteNo snow monkeys in Africa! Lots and lots of other monkeys though. Your vintage cover is cool this week, love the pink dress.
ReplyDeleteI've given up on Riverdale, it never really got my attention.
Yea for finally reading songs from the deep!
Have a good week Greg!

ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy songs from the deep. I have never watched riverdale myself but I know my older sister found it to be very watchable and raced through it!
ReplyDeleteWith all the snow around my place and freezing cold air it is quite fun to watch those monkeys enjoying a hot bath. Should do that too *smile* Have a wonderful weekend and happy reading and happy listening!

I love the pulp cover how could you not want to read that book! Happy Valentine's Day! Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteGlad that Songs of the Deep is at least decent (you know, after all this time 😂). The girl in Hostile Takeover reminds me of Octavia/Marie. Love seeing Tokyo as always, and the snow monkeys are so cute! The monkey at 18:18 chilling in the water is such a MOOD, honestly.
ReplyDeleteI just spent a pleasant half hour or so watching the snow monkeys...thanks for sharing! - Melinda @ A Web of Stories
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the snowy walk through Japan and the flying whale animation is fascinating.
ReplyDeleteI like the cover of Dead in Bed. I can only dream of shuffling off this mortal coil in the same glamorous position. I will probably be found surrounded by crumbs and chocolate wrappers and half-eaten by my cats.
Songs from the Deep looks really good!
ReplyDeleteI will have to watch those snowy walk videos - they look really neat.
I like the Cheryl Blossom picture. Glad to hear you are getting caught up on Riverdale! Songs From The Deep cover makes me want to check out the book. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteOne day I’d love to visit those monkeys!
ReplyDeleteSounds like life is going well. I think Japan just looks beautiful in the video, what a place to visit.
ReplyDeleteOooh, loved the Tokyo Evening Walk and the snow monkeys are awesome! Looking forward to your review of Songs from the Deep. I think that one has been on my TBR forever.
