Are we living in a dystopia? We have climate change, a population in America that a large number believe conspiracy theories, an attempted insurrection against the government... the list goes on and on. I thought I would put together a dystopia playlist- or even a post apocalyptic one- I mean, how fun is that? Songs that address dystopian ideas can be amazing. So... here are some music choices that I think evoke the dystopian mindset well.
This week is my second pick. King of the Monsters!
He's coming...
Yeah, the days are strange, Greg! Kong vs. Godzilla looks fun! Hope it has a solid/good plot besides the outrageousness.
ReplyDeleteLooks good.
ReplyDeleteWe're certainly well on our way, aren't we?
ReplyDeleteI love everything Godzilla! 😍
ReplyDeleteWhen it all started, it felt more like a step back in time than a dystopia :) I've never watched Godzilla, nope, but I really liked the "old time" video and wow, that new movie looks impressive ! (and Alexander Skarsgard's in it ^^)
ReplyDeleteAnother vote for the delicious Alexander! I’m loving him in The Stand just now!
ReplyDeleteThe past four years have definitely felt a bit dystopian, haha.
ReplyDeleteI love all the Godzilla movies. I binge watched a bunch f the old ones a couple of years ago when they were on cable.
ReplyDeleteI love the OTT of this! But, also I am wondering why Godzilla was provoked -- I watched the last one where he battled the Hydra and saved the day, so this is weirdly intriguing. These movies are pretty much the only monster movies I've enjoyed LOL! And Kong! Skull Island was anothr fave movie!
ReplyDeleteBlue Oster Cult...that brings back a few memories! I'm a bit behind in my Kong and Godzilla film watching though.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe I've never heard that one! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeletecan't beat Godzilla!
