This week I'm looking at Words by Missing Persons. This is one of my favorite bands from the 80's and as many have said Dale Bozzio was Gaga before there was a Gaga. :) This may be my favorite of theirs though, and I love the lyrics. Alienation- this could be a teen talking- or just a lament that everyone is self absorbed and not paying attention? There were no cell phones then but imagine these lyrics now.
Oh, and there's a reading reference, so apropos right? Anyway, enjoy.

ReplyDeleteI only knew a few songs by Missing Persons back in the day. I remember thinking that Dale was so "out there." Maybe for that time she was. She always seemed to ooze confidence.
