This week we are looking at fall or autumn themed covers. Just perfect for October! This one seemed kind of challenging, I mean how many of these would I find, but in the end not too bad.
Looks like fall! Just don't, you know, mind the blood.
Leaves!!
This seems like kind of a quintessential autumn book? I haven't read 'em though.
This looks like autumn with the color, and I don't know, just looks like fall to me?
One of my favorites- so colorful. And totally looks like leaves on the wet ground.
Haven't read it but love the festive, autumnal look.
Ooh kind of a spooky cover? I like the bare branches
This just looks autumn-y to me.
No leafage= fall!!!
That first one is actually doubly perfect since it's got the changing leaf, and it's got blood for Halloween! Forever has such a pretty cover.
ReplyDeleteI agree- two great things! :)
DeleteI LOVE bare branches like on the IN THE WOODS cover!! It's so creepy! Also, THE WOOD totally has the fall feels-- although I was super surprised to find out that it was a fantasy book. It looks like a mystery/thriller for sure!! Great list!
ReplyDeleteI do too, especially this time of year when it's all spooky out lol with the bare trees. And also on covers! The Wood might be my favorite, but In the Woods is fabulous too.
DeleteWow, these are really some interesting covers. "Forever" is my favourite from your list :)
ReplyDeleteHere's my TTT: 10 book covers that I fall in love at first sight
That is a great one!
DeleteVery autumnal! Love this list :)

Thanks Cora. :)
DeleteOMG! How did I forget The Missing?! Smacking my head for that! Lol!! Great picks!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
I saw that cover and I was like ooh ooh!
DeleteOh you did such a better job than I did with this topic. So many great ones with leaves and trees all read super fall. Great picks!
ReplyDeleteI had trouble at first! Not knowing if I wanted to go with just leaves or something else... you never know with these. :)
DeleteI like the covers of Missing and Forever. I'm a Maggie Stiefvater and Kelley Armstrong fan! Have a great week! New follower.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read Stiefvater but I like Kelley Armstrong. And both those covers are great!!
DeleteYou found so many great ones! I love all the leaves and colors on A Friend of Silence!
ReplyDeleteI agree, that's an amazing cover!!
DeleteAlthough not as autumnal in visuals as the others included, Into The Woods is the one that gives me most autumnal vibes because of the darker reads many of us tend to gravitate towards this time of year. Great list!
ReplyDeleteI agree. There's something about that one, just a creepy great cover! And I love reading darker books this time of year.
DeleteGreat list. I especially like the Peanuts book! Tana French is perfect. Now if I can only sit down and read it. It's been on my TBR for a long time now.

Thanks! The Peanuts book was a late addition and I wanted something whimsical.
DeleteGreat choices! I like that you put Linger; it does look like fall with the red! I'm actually reading In the Woods right now.

I want to read In the Woods. And I agree the red is very much autumnal.
DeleteThese are very autumnal covers indeed! Happy fall reading!
ReplyDeleteMy TTT: https://dwellinpossibilityblog.wordpress.com/2017/10/10/top-ten-tuesday-fall-covers-and-themes/#more-13811
Thanks Jessie!
DeleteI really need to grab Mouse Guard. If I had done a traditional theme - I went more with Halloween/scary reads, The Wood and Missing would have definitely made my list. They are PERFECT autumn covers!
ReplyDeleteI need to read Mouse Guard too, I keep thinking I will and I never have, And I think so too- love both of those!
DeleteI love the Snoopy cover! A Killer Crop screamed fall to me too and The Wood is awesome! I hadn't heard of that one but now I want to know more about it just based off the cover! Great list!
ReplyDeleteI have The Wood but it didn't grab me, so it's kind of on hold. Love the cover though! And I couldn't resist with the Snoopy cover!
DeleteSuch great choices, and the colors in the Killer Crop look so festive and bright. Hugs...RO
ReplyDeleteI know- makes me want to go there. :)
DeleteGreat autumn covers!
ReplyDeleteThanks Chrissy!
DeleteIn the Woods was such a good book, even if the ending made me angry! :D Love Kelley Armstrong, too. I've recently gotten into cozy mysteries so I'm going to have to check out A Killer Crop now!
ReplyDeleteHere is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thanks!
I still need to read it. And I'm a new convert to Armstrong, after reading a few of her books.
DeleteI ead an occasional cozy and A Killer Crop looks fun!
Great list! I keep meaning to watch Outlander but I feel like I can't until I've read the books - if only they weren't all so huge!
ReplyDeleteThey are chunkster- I haven't read them or seen the show, but they look good.
DeleteI've seen The Woods pop up a couple of times this week - just based on that cover I want to give it a try. :)
ReplyDeleteLauren @ Always Me
I do too- I have The Wood but haven't delved into it yet. I read the first chapter or two and it didn't grab me, but I'll go back to it.
DeleteYou've included some beautiful covers! :-)
ReplyDeleteI e never seen or heard of The Wood. I need to check it out now!!!
ReplyDeleteI love that creepy cover!!
DeleteGreat picks, these all look gorgeous! I was worried I wouldn't find any good ones at first either, but in the end there really are so many great fall covers out there :)
ReplyDeleteThere are , but it took me a while to put this one together :)
DeleteOoh lovely autumnal books. The Wood is my favourite cover.
ReplyDeleteI think that's my fave too. :)
DeleteI love all the beautiful fall leaves on these covers. Great picks!
ReplyDeleteI do too, this was a fun one!
DeleteGreat picks! I enjoyed seeing these beautiful covers. I just adore fall :)
ReplyDeleteTHanks, I love fall!
DeleteI love Kelley Armstrong, but I haven't read Missing! Yay, leaves! I'm ready for them to cover the ground. Forever made my list, too! How could it not? #greatminds :)
ReplyDeleteHa ha good covers! :) I saw Missing and though oh I gotta use this.
DeleteOooh, OBSESSED with the cover for The Wood. What a great start to a fantastic list!
ReplyDeleteThanks, I love that cover!
DeleteYou did much better with this topic than I did. At first I wanted to do leaves but could only think of 2 covers, so I ended up just going with fall colors.
ReplyDeleteI actually liked your list! I love the fall colors, reds and oranges.
DeleteThese covers are great, especially the first one! All your picks have such nice fall coloring.
ReplyDeleteElena@The Novelistics
Thanks Elena! I saw the cover of The Wood and knew I had to lead off with that one. :)
DeleteMissing and 'Silence' are both great features for today. Though I've not read any of these, I have heard of the former... and I just love all the fall vibes these covers are sporting!! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for visiting Finding Wonderland, Greg.
Missing had a autumn vibe, as I recall, although I don't remember if it was actually set in fall.
DeleteI love the changing colors of leaves around this time of the year, and you've chosen a lot of covers that show that. The Wood actually landed on my wishlist earlier this year because the cover caught my eye!
ReplyDelete~Mogsy @ BiblioSanctum
I LOVE that cover! And I agree- the changing leaves are one of my favorite things.
DeleteThis is quite a fun prompt! The first two were two that I thought of for sure. The Wood has an all-around fall feel to it, too. I like A Friend of Silence! Most autumn colors are so... blah, but not that one! Now i kind of want to do this prompt on some other Tuesday when I actually can. These are great choices!
ReplyDeleteI thought so! I think The Wood is fabulous, looks like fall but blood??? A A Friend of Silence just totally looks autumnal!
DeleteI guess it is, hadn't thought of that! Thanks. :)
ReplyDeleteIs it weird that I like the cover of The Wood ?
ReplyDeleteNo! I love that cover. :)
DeleteIn the Woods has a nice cover and I like the colour of the Blake Crouch book. I like Killer crop too.
ReplyDeleteWow, these are all so very 'fall' to me! The Wood and A Killer Crop really stand out. You have some great choices for this TTT!
ReplyDeleteI like this weeks theme. Everyone is coming up with gorgeous covers.
ReplyDeleteAnd yay Snoopy!
For What It's Worth
Nice picks, Greg! I suggested Missing to another blogger for this same feature, so you see how I particularly like that cover, hehe
ReplyDeleteI have to say, I really love the style of those cozy mystery covers. A Killer Crop looks really good.
ReplyDeleteThe Woods and Forever are both perfect fall covers!! As is Into the Woods as well!!
ReplyDeleteI like the first one the best. I immediately thought Oct with that cover.
ReplyDeleteCan I just say, I love that there is a Snoopy book on your list. =)
ReplyDeleteHi! I love Woodstock! :) All these are so Fall!
ReplyDeleteMy TTT
Leslie
I love that cover for A Killer Crop, but it does not look like a murder mystery to me! Must be a very cozy murder. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is a great list and I can't believe I forgot about Forever. I love seeing Snoopy and Woodstock on your list!
ReplyDeleteDid you know they are making The Mouse Guard into an animated movie? I think it looks just like that cover illustration. You found a lot of covers with fall leaves!
ReplyDeleteI love The Wood cover. That is really awesome! I also love the Cozy covers. They always look so inviting! Great picks for fall, Greg! :)
ReplyDeleteNow I want to check out The Wood! man that cover is awesome! lol
ReplyDeleteA Killer Crop looks so good! Love those cozy covers :)
ReplyDeleteOoh I love the theme for this TTT! I bet it was kind of hard though. If the topic had been winter it would've been a piece of cake. It seems like so many books go from all things summer to immediately winter, not many set during the fall. I love the A Friend of Silence one!! That's my favorite one too! Sadly here the leaves aren't changing. It's still in the upper 80s. One of my trees is starting to bloom again! Everything is so confused!
