Top Ten Books On My Fall 2018 TBR

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by
That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week a new Top Ten list will be posted. Everyone is welcome to join. Link back to The Broke and the Bookish so everyone can check out other bloggers' lists. It's a fun way to get to know fellow bloggers.

This week is Top Ten Books on my Fall 2018 TBR. Most of these are books that are just coming out, or will be soon, although there may be one or two that have been out for a while, and I just haven't gotten to them yet.

Wildcard (Warcross #2)
Nine Perfect Strangers

The Light Between Worlds

Onyx and Ivory

The Consuming Fire (The Interdependency, #2)

Number One Chinese Restaurant

The Cheerleaders

Broken Things

Uncharted

Love & Luck

  1. YAY for Wildcard. Really like this duo - and they make me more curious for more of Marie's books. Also, Onyx and Ivory looks so intense, but interesting and of course, SOMEDAY I must read a book by Jenna Evans Welch. :)

    1. I feel the same way- I'm really curious now about Marie's other books, based on Warcross! And I can't wait to read Wildcard. Oh and I highly recommend Love and gelato by Jenna Evans Welch. Good stuff!

  3. Onyx & Ivory and The Cheerleaders are both on my TBR. Don't know when I'll get to them though. There are so many other books I want to read, haha.

I pre-ordered Wildcard - hoping to read it as soon as it arrives! :D

    Happy reading!

I'm hoping to get to Wildcard soon as well!

  4. Nine Perfect Strangers and Broken Things are two I am for sure excited about! Hope you enjoy all of these.

  5. Ooh nice! Can't wait for Wildcard. Who knows when I'll actually get to read it! I feel like last year I was reading all sorts of ARCs for duologies but was denied an ARC of the second one which now makes it really hard to read them as they release since I have so much more on my plate! Lol.

About to start Broken Things soon and I am excited! Hope you enjoy all of these this fall!

    Here's my Tuesday Post

    Have a GREAT day!

    1. It is a problem! I hope you get to it soon. I'm torn because I want to read it as soon as it's out (oops it's actually out NOW) but I have a few others I feel the same way about. Book blogger problems. :)

  6. Wildcard and Nine Perfect Strangers are must reads for me too. I hope my eLibrary gets them. Same with The Cheerleaders. I adored Love & Luck. It was a great family and friendship story. I am currently reading Broken Things and so far, I am quite interested in learning more.

    1. Well... you could read them together now, assuming you like Warcross!

  12. Broken Things looks awesome. It's been a while since I read anything by Lauren Oliver, and I think I need to check this one out. Seeing Wildcard on your list reminds me that I really need to get around to reading Warcross. Hope you have a great Tuesday! :D

  16. Wildcard made my list this week too! I can't wait to read more after the cliffhanger in the first book. I've seen Broken Things a lot this morning and have added it to my TBR. Hope you enjoy these!

    Here's my TTT.

    1. I've seen Wildcard on a lot of lists- I think it will be a hot one! And yes Lauren's new one is everywhere!

  17. I definitely want to read Nine Perfect Strangers and Broken Things! I have looked at the Love and Luck book too cause it takes place in Ireland right? And I know you liked her previous book Love and Gelato. The covers of Wildcard and Light Between Worlds are stunning!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yes Love & Luck is set in Ireland! And I did- Love & Gelato was enough to make me at least look at anything else she writes. I love that cover of Wildcard!

  18. The Consuming Fire is on my list too, though via Audible, as I love Wil Wheaton's narration.

  19. So many great books! Several of these are on my wish list or TBR pile, and a couple are completely new to me. I just got notice the audio of Wildcard has arrived in my inbox--now just to listen to Warcross! Have a great week, Greg. Enjoy your books!

  20. Woo for Wildcard! About four hours until I can start reading it! Laura Weymouth is such a sweetheart on Twitter... I was going to pre-order her book but then Amazon had a $1.99 sale on some other books and I was like "oooh squirrel! I mean... book!" so I ended up spending the money I had saved for it.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Ha ha not counting down or anything right? :) And that's good to know about Weymouth- I am looking forward to her book.

  21. Great list! Love and Luck sounds cute, and I really like the sound of The Light Between Worlds as well. Here is our Top Ten Tuesday

  22. Yay for a new Liane Moriarty book. I hope this one is good! I’ve heard Welch’s books are really good too.

    1. Right? And I hope so- and I really liked the Welch book I read!

  23. I should add NUMBER ONE CHINESE RESTAURANT to my list. It looks like so much fun.
I read these lists and I start to panic. There are so many books out there that I haven't even heard of and now I want to look into them. But my TBR is already over 100 books long. If I just read them it would take me over a year to finish the list without adding new titles (which I do all the time.) Eek! My Fall TBR list

  26. I finally checked out Warcross from the library. Crossing my fingers I can get to it by the end of the month. Hope Wildcard lives up to all your expectations!

  27. I've got Warcross on my November TBR for Sci-Fi Month, hopefully I'll be able to get Wildcard in that month too :)

  28. The Light Between Worlds, Onyx & Ivory, and Broken Things are all on my eventual TBR! I hope you love all of these!

  30. I have a few of these on my overall list of things to check out, or at least the first books in the series! I have the first Scalzi book, and I've been eyeing Onyx & Ivory for a week now.

    1. I am really curious about the Scalzi book, it's the only thing by him I've read yet but I liked the Kiva character.

  32. Ahhhh so many good releases coming out this fall that it's hard to keep track. I'm interested in Wildcard, but I still need to read Warcross.

  35. Wildcard is going to be awesome! Great list!

  36. A lot of these are on my Fall TBR. A lot were also on my summer, spring, and winter TBRs though, so not a lot of confidence here hah. Wildcard I really do want to get to, and I *say* I'll get to Onyx and Ivory but... honestly unless it's a review copy (which it isn't) the chances are slim.

So. Broken Things. I am so TORN about this damn book. Parts of it I thought were quite fabulous, and parts I flat out HATED which is just weird? I am at 63% of Light Between Worlds now, and... look, it's still not going great. And by "not great" I mean I am just as bored as I was last night. I AM finishing it tonight so I can get it over with so I'll keep you posted!

  37. The ones I see on here that I'm desperately excited for are Wild Card and Consuming Fire. I am also so curious about The Light Between Worlds, it sounds so interesting and that's a "cover buy" book if I ever saw one!

  38. I know absolutely nothing about Nine Perfect Strangers but I'm intrigued just looking at it! (Ditto for The Light Between Worlds.) Hope all of your TBR works out well for you!

  39. Great list! I might be tempted to add some to my TBR - especially Nine Perfect Strangers, although I want to read Big Little Lies first since I already have that book.

  40. I'm super excited for Nine Perfect Strangers and Broken Things. I enjoyed The Cheerleaders, but not as much as her previous book. Hope you love them all!

  43. You have so many books on here from authors I've been meaning to read. Like Marie Lu. I don't even know how I haven't picked up one of her books lol. I bought some of her books on my kindle years ago. And yet there they sit. I need to fix this!! Fabulous list and I hope you enjoy all of your books! ♥
