Bookcover Spotlight #81

Journey to the Center of the Earth

I love this cover. The mushrooms and the waterfall... and notice the flying creatures too.

  1. I couldn't agree more. I have seen a number of covers for Journey to the Center of the Earth, and this is my favorite. There is another one with the large mushrooms, but they are more on their own rather than being a part of the larger picture. I have not read this yet, but will seek out this edition when I do.

  2. What a great cover! I'm sure I read this as a kid but I grabbed an ebook copy recently for a read maybe next year if I find time. Too much happening next year already!

  3. Wow, that is such a beautiful cover. Very surreal. I'm actually embarrassed to say that I haven't read this classic yet. I've always meant to but somehow never gotten around to it. Maybe 2017 will be the year I finally remedy that :)
