Oh, that song has given me lots of inspiration from time to time. It's always got such a good vibe to it. Hope you've had a good weekend. It was warmer today, but snow this week, they say. I did get to Schlotzsky's. I do love their original, but it seemed the hot sauce just wasn't as hot as it used to be. Also, I found Barbarian Alien at Half Price Books..still not certain I got it for half-price, but oh well.
I hear Schlotzky's is closing many locations again. We are down to one in the Omaha area. I had looked back at some old News aritcle from the 70's at our library and I noticed in the background of some news photo we had one in our burb back then. Most are with Cinnabon now, too. Around here you can find Cinnabon at many convience stores locations too..too bad they can't have a Schlotzsky's. Yet, it seems the millennial like pizza over the sourdough sandwich. Although, the Rueben is a popular mid-west sandwich, but I never cared much for it..too sweet for my taste. Still a debate around here. Was it first in Omaha or Lincoln? While many will say, "That was a sandwich first made in New York City!" But who knows. Hope your week is a good one and your mom is doing well these days. Oh, and will you watch Pedro's THE LAST OF US?
I was listening to this bopping along and thinking I didn't recognise it but turns out I do I just didn't know the name or who sang it! I love this song, it shows the influence of my mom's music tastes on me I think as it's deifnitely a little too early for me to have heard when it was first out.
Genial video, ten una buena semana. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great song. I've heard it many times before, but it's been a while, so thanks for reminding me it's a great song.
