Another week flew by. The ducks have been around some but I think they're making the rounds. I'm watching Riverdale again and did you see the new trailer for the 100?
The Bookish Games have started! Basically you're either Town or you're the bad guys (Town have to vote out the bad guys- but who are they? and the bad guys have to murder the Townies at night) and this is my third Game playing. You can check out all the fun here. And if you want to be part of the Chat for spectators you can request access at the same link. Good times! And a perfect distraction, it must be said, considering the state of things.
In other news I finished Girls With Razor Hearts this week (awesome) and also read A Werewolf in Riverdale (also kinda awesome but pretty graphic).

NEW ARRIVAL/ UPCOMING REVIEWS:
BOOKISH LINKS
I’m really scared for the 100 season 7. The past couple of seasons have just not been very good, and I doubt the writers will wrap things up the way everyone wants it to. That being said, I am eagerly waiting for May 20!
ReplyDeleteOoh, I like some of the darker art pieces this week. Love the atmosphere.
ReplyDelete~Mogsy @ BiblioSanctum
Rodney the squirrel has been swinging on our newest bird feeder again-such a cute and funny guy! I've been watching the birds a lot and even the shy sparrows are coming down to feed at my feet!
ReplyDeleteRodney sounds fun! :) We have them do that too- they terrorize the bird feeders haha!
DeleteHope you are on the winning side of things in the bookish games, and glad to hear it has been a fun distraction for you.
ReplyDeleteThanks!!!
DeleteI'm a fan of Caleb Roehrig but don't know much about Riverdale so I wasn't sure if I should pick this one up. Do you think I would get it even if I don't know much about the world?
ReplyDeleteKaren @ For What It's Worth
Yes I think it would be fine! I was reading it and I feel like even if I didn't watch Riverdale he describes the characters well enough that you don't really need to know!!
DeleteGlad you survived another week. Have an awesome weekend! :D
ReplyDeleteA marriage made in Hell, huh? Haha!
ReplyDeleteI seriously need to get caught up on Riverdale. I was doing great for a while there and then got distracted watching other things. I also need to go find that trailer for The 100!
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy the Bookish Games! May the good guys win! I am glad you enjoyed Girls With Razor Hearts. I need to re-watch the first two seasons of The 100 to refresh my memory. I hope you have a great week, Greg. Stay safe and well.
ReplyDeleteI've been meaning to watch Riverdale on Neflix, but I haven't gotten to it yet.
ReplyDeleteI need to check out Riverdale sometime. Good luck with the Bookish Games! :)
ReplyDeleteGood to hear you have been enjoying your viewing, gaming and reading this week. Not sure the pretty graphic A Werewolf in Riverdale would be for me though!😅
ReplyDeleteDragonfly Wins is such a treat LOL.
ReplyDeleteI'm so behind on the 100. I loved the first two seasons, and then life happened.. and I never watched again. I'm still curious about it though.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the bookish Games! ;)
I need to get past the season 1 of Riverdale. Should I try again? What else am I gonna do staying in! I hope you are staying in and safe.
ReplyDeleteGayathri @ Elgee Writes
The bookish games sound like fun. I really need to spectate.
ReplyDeleteMy sister watched the 100 and said it was good, I need to start watching it. You all have me so curious now.
Have a great week, Greg! Happy Reading! xx
No, have not seen the new 100 trailer yet. In Germany I will have to wait about 6 to 12 months before it will air and I don´t watch tv or movies on my laptop anymore. But I know that it will be the final season for the 100 and looking forward to watching it. Have fun with the ducks *smile* and enjoy your books and games. Wishing you a great new week. Stay safe and well.
ReplyDeleteYou need to read Hunting November and let me know if it's any good I still haven't gotten to it yet I think I am worried...lol.
ReplyDeleteHave a safe week and happy reading!

I love Alchemy Corner and Sakura Blossom House...also that Treehouse!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing...and enjoy your books and games.
Thanks for visiting my blog.
I loved To Be Taught If Fortune. :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the bookish games!! And thanks for sharing the turtle video. Its so peaceful!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the bookish games! Sounds fun, even though there's no way I'd ever remember to participate consistently enough 🤣. Have a great week and stay safe!
ReplyDeleteI have a copy of Werewolf in Riverdale for a friend's daughter - she loves Riverdale, so hopefully she'll enjoy it (and it won't too violent for her!)

Enjoy the ducks. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteI started watching The 100 again after seeing that trailer! Also watching How To Get Away With Murder too. We have geese visiting the fish pond out back. I hope they choose to stay here and raise their babies! They hop from pond to pond in our area.
ReplyDeleteI think I have been waiting for The 100 to come out even before it finished. Thanks for sharing!

Someday I will catch up with Riverdale and The 100. I'm a few seasons behind on both.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great week!
Can't wait for The 100!!!
ReplyDeleteNicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction
I hope you've mastered these bookish games Greg! Bring it on! LOL
ReplyDeleteRight? Let the games begin!!!
DeleteGlad the ducks are still visiting, even if you are now on a roster... Hope the games continue to go well, Greg - and once more - many thanks for the fantastic pics. I hope the coming week is a good one. Stay safe.
ReplyDeleteRight, we're part of their rotation now haha!
DeleteThe artwork is awesome and I love the tranquil turtle Youtube! I took a walk along a canal the other day, and there were about 10 different families of ducks. So interesting to see the protective parents with their offspring in the bushes and then stratteling out to the water. Each family had over 10 little ones!
ReplyDeleteI love that turtle vid, I just play it in the background and it's so relaxing! And we've had some ducks come by too, I love watching 'em! That sounds adorable!
DeleteI have not see the trailer for The 100. I do hope it is a better season than last. Looking forward to some new shows as our regulars are at their season's end. Hope this cool weather passes quickly and we get back to warm weather, it helps with the staying at home.
ReplyDeleteI do too. I thought last season was okay but it wasn't my favorite. Hoping the show goes out on a high note!
DeleteGood luck in the Bookish Games! Sounds like a fun distraction about now.
ReplyDeleteIt's a life saver! :)
DeleteTurtle Paradise is so relaxing! Hope you have as much fun with Bookish Games as you've had in the past. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks! I loved Turtle PAradise when I first saw it.
DeleteNice the games have begun again. Fun I guess but too time consuming! Good to hear your reading was great if a little graphic.
ReplyDeleteHow amazing does that water look in Turtle Paradise, and I also love that Hidden Paradise picture.
ReplyDeleteStay safe. I feel we are just drifting but like everything else, this too shall pass.
ReplyDeleteWell now I need to read The Color of Murder since it apparently is the best mystery of the year! I have never watched an episode of Riverdale but I'd like too. Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteWe don't get to see a lot of wildlife in our yard. Our 3 dogs make sure that nothing dares to enter our property. The Bookish Games sound like fun! Love all of the art. Have a great week, Greg!
ReplyDeleteI'm behind again on Riverdale. We are so busy watching When Calls the Heart... but the sheriff from Riverdale is in that. Lol. I'm glad you are enjoying your ducks and bunnies - it does seem like that now that we are all in our houses more the animals are emerging... :)
ReplyDeleteThe Bookish Games sounds like a mafia game! I'm doing one of those now, although mine is an Indiana Jones-themed game.
ReplyDeleteIt is one of those! And ooh an Indiana Jones style game?
DeleteThe Bookish Games always scares me a little but I always know how much you enjoy it. It's definitely the perfect time for the games so hope you enjoy it. I still haven't watched any Riverdale, I'm so intrigued by how crazy it looks though.
ReplyDeleteThe Bookish Games are a lot of fun but sooo time consuming. It takes hours! And Riverdale- oh my gosh I'd love to know what you think! I mean, it's trash but fun trash???
DeleteI keep forgetting that Girl With Razor Hearts is out, I really need to check it out. Songs from the Deep looks really good, too. Interseted to hear your thoughts on Good Girls Lie, also!
ReplyDeleteDoes The Werewolf in Riverdale have anything to do with the Show Riverdale? And I want to visit that woodland camp <3 I hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThe book is pretty different from the show, it's not in the same continuity which is probably good because things happen to some of the characters and I'm like gahhh they're still alive on the show!!!
DeleteI want to visit Turtle Paradise!
ReplyDeleteThe game always sounds like fun when you mention it! I hope you enjoy it! Amazing art, as always! :D
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the Bookish Games
ReplyDeleteI keep meaning to suggest you check out the blog murdermayhemandlongdogs , he regularly posts pulp covers and I think you’d enjoy them.
Wishing you a great reading week, stay well x
Good luck in the Bookish Games! I love that Sakura house illustration.
ReplyDeleteI love the turtles! 🐢💜
ReplyDeleteI will be putting up my Lost Horizon review/discussion this week. 👍✨
Happy to see you are doing okay. 🌞
I wish I could have met the artists who did old school covers from back in the day. Definitely different from now. I've seen a mix of so many different things on Netflix that it would make your head spin. A friend told me now he knows why my head is so huge(lol) because I always keep stuffing stuff in there.(lol) Hope you've been doing well and staying safe. Air Hugs, RO
