Top Ten Upcoming Releases I Am On The Fence About

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by
That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week a new Top Ten list will be posted. Everyone is welcome to join. Link back to The Broke and the Bookish so everyone can check out other bloggers' lists. It's a fun way to get to know fellow bloggers.

This week is Top Ten Upcoming Releases I Am On The Fence About. Okay this was a tough one and I literally did this last minute, as I had to move some around and decide which books I'm really on the fence about. Plus I started this post an age ago and some books have already come out or been taken off the TBR since then. But enough chit chat- here we are!

One Word Kill (Impossible Times, #1)

  Limited Wish (Impossible Times #2)

These two sound so good?

Murder-a-Go-Go's

The Go-Go's???

The Devouring Gray

Is it a spookier Riverdale? If so, maybe...

Killing November

Do I really want this? I mean, isolated boarding school and everyone hates each other plus death. Yeah?

The Girl I Used to Be

Do I want this? I think I do... I was actually going to read it last year and never did, so... has its time come??

The Night Before

I think I want this

Swimming at Night

I loved her book The Blue so this may be my next of hers to read.

They All Fall Down

The cover clinches it

After the Lights Go Out

I mean it's postapoc?

  1. I don't think I've heard of any of these - nor do they look familiar. Hope you enjoy some of these if you do decide to go ahead and read them, Greg. I'm all about knowing what you like and skipping within the genre you best like; makes the time we spend reading so much nicer. :)

    1. I agree- there's a fine line between venturing out of a comfort zone and sticking with what you like. I tend to like a few genres for most of my reading. :)

  2. Oh I loved After the Lights Go Out! I'm an absolute sucker for post-apocalyptic stories and this one reminded me a little bit of the Tomorrow series. Mostly because of it's Australian-ness. But it was great and I didn't want to put it down!

    Here's my TTT!

  8. I think you've talked yourself into wanting to read most, if not all of these by the sounds of it. I have a copy of One Word Kill and will definitely be reading that one. After the Light Go Out draws my eye too.

  10. The Devouring Gray is on my list as well, but is more than likely one I will read. There's still just some initial hesitation due to all the hype!

    Here's my Tuesday Post

    Have a GREAT day!

  11. I know I will definitely be reading Killing November. I have enjoyed Mather's other books, and you know, prep school and all that is my catnip. That Go-Gos book had me smiling. I need to know more about that.

  15. I'm all down for a spookier Riverdale so I definitely want to grab that one. I added After the Lights Go Out to my wishlist after seeing it on your blog last week (or maybe the week before). One Word Kill almost made it to my list this week as well but I decided to take the easy way out and just go with 5.

  16. Great list! I haven't heard of quite a few of these so I'll have to check them out. I do like the sound of The Devouring Gray, but I'll probably wait to see some reviews before I read it.

  23. Geez, I feel like I stepped off a space ship Greg. All of these are new to me. I mean seriously. Usually I at least recognize the cover.

  24. I'm no ton the fence abut the Devouring Grey! I'm SUPER intrigued! LOL

  25. I haven't heard of any of these! If you do end up reading them, I hope that they are great reads for you!

  26. I'm really curious about One Word Kill also! If it were another author I might not pick it up right away, but I do really like Mark Lawrence's books, so I'm definitely giving it a shot. Killing November has me wanting to read it for that premise also, but I'm worried it will be disappointing, haha. I hope that if you do read these you enjoy them!

  27. I'm really interested in The Devouring Gray, but might just wait for those early reviews first. Hope you enjoy any of these you end up picking up!

  28. I hope you enjoy any of them that you end up reading.

  29. I'm on the fence about Devouring Grey as well

  30. I desperately want After the Lights Go Out. Desperately. So once I cave and buy it, I will let you know about it hah. Also I will be reading Devouring Gray within the next month, so I will let you know about that one too! I'd be game for a spookier Riverdale! (Also, a less dumb Riverdale, but I guess we can't want everything, ha.)

  31. Most of these probably aren't for me, but an isolated boarding school where everyone hates one another and there is some death might work for me. I've got to be nuts.

Thanks for visiting my blog today.

  32. so killing november, devouring gray, and one word kill are all in my TBR. I hope to be reading at least killing november and devouring gray real soon.

  33. I definitely want to check out One Word Kill, but then I'm a hardcore Mark Lawrence fan. It sounds kinda different from his usual style, but I'll still try it!

  35. I’m on the fence about The Devouring Gray, too. It’ll either be innovative and awesome, or exactly like 1000 other books I’ve read.
