Ooh, I've not seen this version before. I like it a lot, maybe even a bit more than the US version, but it just needs snow to give a better idea of the setting!
So this is pretty, but when I read the synopsis, I think the snowy cover fits better? Like this one is better, but maybe if it had the blizzard in it, it would have been a home run? Glad it was good though :D
Ooo just a little creepy.
ReplyDeleteOh, I do like this one... It is atmospheric, but draws you in also. I've heard some good things about this author also.
ReplyDeleteI like the pic but I don't really care for the layout of the author name, praise, and the title
ReplyDeleteI've seen a few different covers for this book and liked them all. I'm looking forward to reading it!
ReplyDeleteCreeptastic! And I love covers with trees on them.

ReplyDeleteThat twilight sky and the two birds do give it a creepy atmosphere.
ReplyDeleteThat title and tag line! It's perfect for the cover.
ReplyDeleteMe and Melody are planning on reading this one at the end of September, and I'm really looking forward to it! :)
ReplyDeleteI really like the colors on this one!

ReplyDelete"There is no escape." Love that tagline. It's so ominous and immediately makes me want to know more.
ReplyDeleteI like it. I wouldn't mind a photograph composed like that. 🌳
ReplyDeletean "Amytiville like" house, two birds (surely crows) flying above and a blue/back cover... YES!
