that's true that's some nice ones
ReplyDeleteNice covers, I like blue, so water is always a nice theme :)
ReplyDeleteI do too!
DeleteOh, I like these covers! The water really gives them all a sort of mysterious, almost creepy vibe..
ReplyDeleteI seem to gravitate towards the mysterious covers...
DeleteThese covers are very striking, love this list.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT: http://www.teaandtitles.com/cover-theme-ttt/
These are fantastic covers! Imaginary Girls has always been a favorite of mine. I really love The Vactioners cover too. Great picks!
ReplyDeleteI like that one too. And Vacationers just looks summery!
DeleteNice list! There are a lot of beautiful covers here. I think water has a tendency of making them look either quite tranquil or quite creepy, there's no in between haha!
ReplyDeleteThank for visiting me!
Lauren @ My Expanding Bookshelf
I agree- tranquil or creepy. They work both ways. :)
DeleteOh I love water covers too - especially girls floating in water so those are my favorites here. I also like The Vacationers a lot. Great picks!
ReplyDeleteI seem to like them! The Vacationers is an awesome cover.
DeleteI agree, Lori. Everything on this list was awesome.
ReplyDeleteTides and I Found You stuck out to me the most, though. They each could be interpreted in so many different ways.
Here is my TTT.
:) Tides is one of my favorites, and so I Found You actually.
DeleteI Found You and Tides are my favorite here. I haven't read any of these but you have a point. I really can find myself getting lost in covers featuring water.
ReplyDeleteThose two are favorites of mine too. And I love water covers...
DeleteI'm attracted to covers with water too. That blue just pulls you in!
ReplyDeleteBlue is one of my favorite cover colors... and I like green too.
DeleteThese are all so great! I love how they all feature water but have such different feels to them. I think I like The Deep End and Murder at Brightwell ones the best!
ReplyDeleteThank you! The Deep End is a favorite of mine too...

ReplyDeleteThanks. I don't know what it is but a good cover with water always gets me... :)
DeleteNeat list. Some of those book look intriguing, esp Tides and World of Water.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT: http://books.thetechchef.net/top-ten-tuesday-23/
Tides is awesome and I liked World of Water too (both the cover and the book).
DeleteHa, Greg! That's great that you love so many water related books. Fab list. :-)
ReplyDeleteI've always loved the Imaginary Girls cover! So gorgeous. :)
ReplyDeleteYeah I like it too. :)
DeleteI love these covers...water ones are some of my favorites too.
ReplyDeleteThanks ! :)
DeleteOh I quite like Imaginary Girls cover. And The Incident on the Bridge is also drawing me in.
ReplyDeleteI love both of those.
DeleteI'm loving Tides. You're making me long for the beach!
ReplyDeleteThese covers do make me want to hit the beach!
DeleteWater covers are really cool. I like all the ones you share here, Greg. I immediately feel pulled to each one. :-) I think Tides and Incident on the Bridge draw me in the most of those you shared.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
Thanks! I like both of those a lot.
DeleteI like books with water on the covers do, what a fun pick. Vitro looks especially interesting to me.
ReplyDeleteVitro is such a cool cover! Love the book too.
DeleteI really like the Vitro cover - it might be my favorite out of all the covers you featured here, Greg. ^^
ReplyDelete~Sophia @ Bookwyrming Thoughts
Thanks, I like Vitro too. Great cover, and a pretty good book.
DeleteWe love water covers, too! And you have chosen some great ones to feature. There's just something about the water that entices me, and I've been known to buy a book or two (or three) based on cover alone. Great choices and great TTT! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you. I'll admit that book covers play a big role in which books I get as well!
DeleteThese are all great covers! I love the diversity as well, they all look so different. I think my favorite is Murder at the Brightwell. I like the color and style, it feels very retro.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I had fun putting these together. And Murder at the brightwell, I love that retro cover too.
DeleteI LOVE covers featuring water or the sea. I think my favorites of this bunch are The Vacationers and The Incident on the Bridge.
ReplyDeleteI love that Vacationers cover, it just makes me want to be near a pool. :)
DeleteSanctuary Bay is my favorite cover of all of these, but you have some very beautiful ones to choose from. Great list!
ReplyDeleteI like that one too! And it was a fun book.
DeleteEveryone is doing really awesome things with this week's TTT (which I forgot to do). I like the water theme, and there is some nice variety in the covers you selected.
ReplyDeleteSam @ WLABB
This was a fun week, I got LOTS of book ideas this week. Thanks for stopping by, I like water on covers too.
DeleteI'd totally check out the Incident on the Bridge! And God I totally want to be living The Vacationers cover!
ReplyDeleteI know, right? That cover always gets me! And The Incident on the Bridge cover is so cool with the coloring and her hand trailing in the water...
DeleteI love covers that have people underwater. I don't even know why. Great list, Greg!
ReplyDeleteI like water covers there's so much you can do with them. And underwater covers. Thanks!
DeleteYay, we both did water this week! And how wild that we did but didn't pick any of the same covers :)
ReplyDeleteI know? Yay. Liked your picks too. :)
DeleteI am struck by the sudden urge to travel some place tropical, with a nice sandy beach :) So many beautiful covers.
ReplyDelete~Mogsy @ BiblioSanctum
Me too! I love a good beach cover...
DeleteWater photography has got to be among my favorite which is why covers like Imaginary Girls immediately catch my eye.
ReplyDeleteYeah I like those too.
DeleteLooove these! Water covers are fabulous! Even if you know the book is not going to be happy, there is just something so appealing about the water. Although maybe I'll skip The Deep End, since there is clearly a dead woman in that pool, and well, no one wants to swim there after that. Great picks!!
ReplyDeleteHa she actually bumps into the body while swimming! That would ruin your day. :)
DeleteI love the water theme. Great idea!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteThanks for stopping!
ReplyDeleteHaha, well water does make for great covers for some reason! I guess it's just pretty. And underwater covers are all dreamy looking. I really like that Tides cover, and I love the Vitro one! That one really pops.
ReplyDeleteTides and Vitro are some of my favorite covers.
DeleteIt seems weird that I'm a fire sign when it comes to the zodiac/astrology as I love water! I enjoy holidays where I can walk by the sea, a river, look out from a holiday cottage across a lake...I'd LOVE to have a house near water! I think I've got quite a few books with water on the cover. Books like I Found You have the scenic look I like...
ReplyDeleteI'm a fire sign too but love water! I'd love to be on the water...
DeleteSome great covers here. I like the feel of Sanctuary Bay
ReplyDeleteOh! I love all of these covers. I really like The Blue, The Vactioners, and I Found You; in fact, I hope to read I Found You sometime soon. Great list!
ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with water covers :D
ReplyDeleteI like the incident on the bridge one
Images of people floating in water are a big thing now! I even created a pinterest board for them :) My favorite on your list is the Girl from the Sea :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool idea for a TTT! It's true, there are definitely a ton of watery covers :) Fabulous list! Thanks for sharing :D
ReplyDeleteBrittany @ Brittany's Book Rambles
I'm in total agreement with your choice. Water is life so it makes sense that we are drawn to it!
ReplyDeleteMurder at Brightwell looks like it will be a good one. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog earlier.
What a great topic! I do love staring at pretty covers. I especially love the cover of Imaginary Girls. Nova Ren Suma is an author whose books I need to try. :D Great list, Greg!

What a great idea - I bet I have quite a few with water on them two. Love some of these covers. I particularly like Tides and the Vacationers.
ReplyDeleteLynn :D
I think I don't own any books that have a water themed cover! Only on my Kindle maybe but I don't count them :D
ReplyDeleteLove the 'Tides' cover, it's so magical :)
Goodness! I haven't even seen most of these, let along read them. A fun spin on this week's topic for sure. Water can convey SO many different things in a design. From terrifying and creepy to soothing or whimsical, and you've covered a wide range of these feelings with the books you chose. Great feature, Greg. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for visiting Finding Wonderland.
There are so many great covers with water on them. I'm really loving the cover for The Girl From The Sea!
ReplyDeleteI love The Deep End and Vitro! Now I can to spend some time at the beach/by the pool haha Great picks, Greg!

ReplyDeleteBooks with water are so mesmerizing - I could stare at them forever! I tend to gravitate towards the colour blue too so I really enjoyed staring at all of these :)
