Sunday Post 504

So I'm getting serious with this self publishing idea. I think I'm going to go with Royal Road and maybe Wattpad. And I'll continue to put my stories on the blog also. I was looking at To Love Is Human and thinking I want to continue that tale. What happened with Maia after she left? I think it's time to see.

In other news I posted two more installments of my Camping story. I'm trying to decide if two or three a week is optimal- of course this is a blog about books, not my writing stuff, so I don't want to irritate my regulars.

Not Bad Betty Cooper GIF by Lili Reinhart

Here is this week's lyric.

You're the only one who really knew me at all

Here is the lyric f/ last week and the answer

I got it bad
You don't know how bad I got it
You got it easy

   Song of the week

PULP COVER OF THE WEEK:

I want to highlight some art that just screams to be a story. Some of the art from Youtube ambient channels is awesome.

  4. Just wanted you to know that I plan on catching up with your stories when I'm back from my hiatus...and aaah, I know this week's song so well...I have memories attached to it, too.

  5. So glad you are going to keep this story going. All the best to your writing! Gotta love that vintage cover too. Oh, the picture writing it could create which would probably be a far cry from the actual real novel.

Well, the bad storm missed us, but it did hit some surrounding rural areas with huge hail and a couple of tornados.

Thanks for your comments! All the best to a wonderful Mother's Day Weekend!

  8. Great idea to put your camping story on the blog for all to read and follow. I'll get to it soon. I like the idea of camping but would always be looking over my shoulder for critters big and large, lol.

  17. As readers, talk about writing shouldn't annoy us! lol But it might for some I guess. I wonder if I should try to take the stories I have started and just put them on Wattpad and maybe as I get to the end of what I have written I'll get inspired to start writing again/finish them? Good luck with what you go with!

  27. It's awesome that you're writing and sharing your stories. I don't see any reason you can't share them here. It's your blog, after all!

The art in that Floating Island ambient is very reminiscent of Studio Ghibli works. (Maybe it's actually from one of their films? I haven't seen enough of them to know for sure.)

  42. If you went with Royal Road or Wattpad, let us know how that went. I like to know as I might consider doing the same. I think it might be easier than to self publish. It's certainly a good start though I'm not really certain.

    Have a lovely day.
