Sunday Post #466

This week has been interesting. My mom had to go back to the hospital for some abdominal issues she's been having, but it looks like she's coming home tomorrow (will probably be home by the time this goes up). She's okay at the moment, but it's recurring so she's pretty frustrated. Not a lot else happened. I posted a new Cover post this week. And since Bookcover Spotlight never went up on Friday I'll just make it part of this one.

Editing this she is apparently NOT coming home. She's alright they just want to keep her in case. In other news, my current read is awesome- kinda reminds me of this.

  4. I hope things go better for her. I am glad you are enjoying a good read too. Love these pulp fiction covers! We have a local parade this weekend. The gathering spot is at the library, and I work today. The trouble is getting to the library. Always something. Thanks again for your comments!

    1. I hope your week is getting better. Got to go out for Italian at a local place and have now had my fill for a good long while. I can't eat that way everyday. The Bear Island cover makes me think of a scene from LIE TO LOVE (c-drama) where in the back story he's just climbed this cliff (he's a rock climber) and she is camping on the cliff, but she practically knocks him off the cliff, just to grab him. On one hand, who in their right mind would camp there and why in the world would he choose to climb that cliff?

AND, you didn't share what your current read is that you're enjoying so much - oh wait, I see it up in the comments :) That Violence is Golden cover says 2 complete novels for 35cents! Ah, those were the days! :) thanks again for visiting - I'll have my Here and Now review up before the end of the month....there's just NOT enough time! :)

  16. I hope they find out what's going on with your mom. Thank goodness they kept her. Hospitals seem to like to boot people out before they're ready nowadays. 😔

Yay for an awesome current read! 😊

Ah, Point Break. I've never actually watched it. I should add that to our list. We did watch City of Joy starring Patrick Swayze last weekend. It was not a joyful movie! :-) It was nice to watch a movie with him in it but it made me sad that he passed away so young.
