  5. I love the cover for Trials. Very spine-chilling. That peeping-in from the shadows theme is really well done.

  6. One of these days I will try The Extinction Trials.

  7. Your cover art makes me check out the books more. Sunday I ended up buying The Swimming Pool after seeing that cover and reading the overview. Thanks for sharing Greg.

  8. The interesting thing is how it's always a single eye.

  9. Ooh, these covers are awesome and also very creepy. I love covers of The Extinction Trials series but I still haven't read them yet (although they've been on my TBR for ages)!

  13. I see the cover blurb on the Extinction Trials series calls it "The Hunger Games meets Jurassic Park"... and that's very appropriate, because this whole post is giving off Jurassic Park vibes. Happy reading!

  14. They are bold covers. I would have to point them away from me otherwise I wouldn't sleep 😂

    Have a great week!

  15. I love these so much, they really draw the eye, don't they? Bad pun aside, I really want to read The Extinction Trials some day soon!

  16. I'm with Sam and wondering why it's almost always just a single eye. Is that creepier? lol

    ReplyDelete
  17. I really like eyes on the cover. I prefer one eye, but two eyes are good too, lol.

  18. You found some really creepy EYE covers. Wilder Girls has me intrigued.

  23. If you're going to go rogue (which you often do!), this is a great one to share. Some of those are downright creepy! Great list of covers - have you read them all? Thanks for the visit (again!)

  24. Covers really do seem to love eyes, which I don't always love, haha. But sometimes they are done with great effect!

  28. These are all cool, and a little creepy. :) My favorite is the first one.

  30. They definitely attracts attention. I wonder what the spines look like - do they put the eyes there with the title? I wouldn't want these books on my shelf if they had eyes on the spine, it's like being watched.

    Have a lovely day.

  34. This post reminds me of the infamous eye on The Great Gatsby cover. I also think a cyclops retelling would suit an eye cover really well!

  35. These are definitely some creepy looking covers with just one eye popping out from behind the foliage. Thanks for stopping by my post last week!
