Sunday Post #444

So another week with no posting. Well, I did post a Monday music but other than that... how is everyone hanging on? I had my first 5 read this week- The Paris Apartment.

So this is my reaction to the current state of things.

  1. I'm glad you survived the week. Have you started THE THING ABOUT PAM (something like that...) with Zellweger on NBC? I'm thinking of getting something from Elisabeth Engstrom on my Kindle. Any suggestions? Thanks so much for the chill lofi mix ❤️ All the best to a relaxing weekend...and more...

    1. Thanks for your comment! Oh, I do like to write about foods I'm not supposed to have. And of course, I love going to that old diner. Breakfast is the best there. Although, the coffee is not great, but suffice. Of course, I'm always in search of good conversation too. Hope you have a good week 💙💛❤️

    2. Somebody was telling me you could also watch PAM on HULU too! As well, as Peacock. NBC is running it on Tuesday nights and there was a repeat last Friday night, as well. I hear she gets up to some pretty bad things.

    3. The Paris Apartment does sound like an interesting mystery. Oh, I have to admit a mystery needs to be in everything..even in the BL I'm writing. Although, I don't think of it as surreal, but of course, I am probably just entertaining that thought...and trying to pace myself.

All the best to a sweet weekend with spring officially here ❤️

  2. "This one's for Roberta."
It says the video isn't available...how rude LOL. What was it? Thank you anyhow for thinking of me!

Yay for 5 stars! And yeah...more Harley Quin drinking...what else? LOL.

    Have a great WE!

  4. Music can be so amazing can't it? :) I always love listening to music because of what emotions and feelings it gives me.

Also, I love the pulp cover. :D

  5. I love everything by Queen. Princes of the Universe is one I don't hear that often. I've heard good things about The Paris Apartment.

  6. Me gustaron los videos y la portada. Te deseo un buen fin de semana.

  7. I am glad you finally had a five-star read. That's a long time to go without one. Chicago has so many iconic songs, and they were (are?) stellar musicians.

  8. YAY for the five-star read! Other than that, keep your head up and stay safe! 🌺

  9. Glad you loved The Paris Apartment! Now I want to read it too- should have grabbed it for BOTM but alas. Also I feel you with the GIF, honestly. It's all too much at this point.

  10. I' m afraid we're living very interesting times.

  11. Man, that Chicago song takes me right back to high school. Now I feel really old! Lol

  12. Chicago! My oldest brother had their first LPs on his shelf, they started out as Chicago Transit Authority and was forced to change their name. Funny I remember my brother telling me this back in the '60s but I can't instantly recall what I watched on tv yesterday.
And the pulp cover, so cool!

  17. Nope nothing has changed. The world sucks. I am wondering where to escape if our neighbor invades

  18. Congrats on finding a 5-star book! I've only had 1 of those so far this year.

    ReplyDelete
  19. It's so hard to watch the news and see everything that's going on.

I'm glad you had a 5-star read though!

  20. I enjoyed listening to the song - thank you - and it's great to hear you finally got a 5 star read for the year. Hope this week is good to you!

  21. I can´t say anything about the video you posted underneath the gif because it is not working. With the rest, I agree. Nothing has changed. The war is still going on, and the biggest liar this planet has ever seen still throws bombs and rockets. So glad you had a five star read. Stay safe and happy reading!

  22. I bought The Paris Apartment last week and haven't gotten to read it yet. I'm even more excited for it knowing you gave it 5 stars!

  23. I hope you enjoyed the Paris Apartment. I almost chose it for my Book of the Month subscription box, but I went with something else. I still want to read it though.

I really like the last video. It is relaxing.

I really like the pulp cover. My family loves all things underwater.

  26. I'm glad you like The Paris Apartment. I wanted to choose it for my Book of the Month book, but I decided to go with the romance book instead, lol. I still want to read The Paris Apartment, though, so I'm glad to heard it's good.

  31. So glad you enjoyed The Paris Apartment. I thought it was great too. I loved The Guest List also. The world is sad these days with all the killing and senseless attacks by Russia. The Ukrainian people are amazing, and I'm glad some other countries are stepping up to help them.

Yep, the world is so stressful now. I doing wine instead of hard liquor. That's my go-to self-medication, lol. Have a great week, Greg!

I have been easily distracted by shows. I tried The Thing About Pam, but fell asleep while watching...LOL. Not a good sign. Maybe I'll try again.

  50. We all have those no-inspiration-post-weeks or days. Hope you're inspired again soon. Thanks so much for visiting Finding Wonderland this week. Appreciate that.

  51. I honestly feel your pain, Greg, inspiration seems to be something everyone struggles with at the moment . . . I honestly think it's pretty normal, although not what we want :( A bit of good news here and there would do the trick! Anyway, I'm really glad you found a 5 star read :)

  52. I don't drink but I totally agree with your first picture. That's how I feel right now, as well.

Hope your next week goes better.
