Sunday Post #434

Happy New Year! Hard to believe we're bidding 2021 goodbye already- although I have high hopes for 2022. What are you doing for New Years?

This week I did not post anything. Again. But this week will be normal. Honestly! I'll be putting up #5 of my Fandom Mashups Revisited and resuming my normal posting hopefully. This past week I've been watching more than reading. I tried the Silent Sea on Netflix and also am watching Vigil (well, I finished) and I want to start Boba Fett. Also, there's a Godzilla marathon TODAY on Comet TV if you get it.

  2. I'm hoping 2022 will bring back the blogging mojo for both of us! Love the Peanuts skating GIF by the way, it's strangely calming and cozy.

  4. Happy New Year, Greg! I hope you 2022 will be good to you and your family. We will be bringing in the new year with our traditional hot fudge sundaes and probably watching movies most of the evening.

  5. Happy New Year to you, too. Any plans for the night? My hubby and I are joking that we haven't decided what to wear when we celebrate the new year, in our family room. Ha!

  6. It's a tradition of mine not to post anything in the last days of the year, so you're not alone. Look at us slacking while everyone is posting "best of" lists and summing up 2021 reading challenges LOL.

    Have a great one Greg!

  7. Happy New Year!
Last year I lost my love and my best friend in a road accident. That is why I believe that this year has to be better. Because it cannot be worse.

  12. These days I'm more into reading and computer games than watching. Except for the crazy, zany Emily in Paris on Netflix. Because I'm a Paris fan. Happy new year of reading, and watching.

  13. We didn't do much for New Years. We go to bed early, LOL, that's our idea of a good time, getting sleep. Today is rainy/dreary and we are just taking it easy. Happy New Year!

  19. Since my father passed away I don't do anything for this Holiday. In fact, I like to pretend it doesn't exist lol. He was a New Years baby and today is very hard for me.

  21. Happy New Year! I love the 'Escaped' ambience, lovely background to my current work! I'm also hoping to go back to more consistent posting, as December was a very slow and relaxed month for me! I hope you have a lovely week and enjoy the Godzilla marathon!

  23. Whoa that worked! I am glad someone else has high hopes for 2022. But I also had high hopes for 2021 and that didn't work out so well...

  24. I also had been watching tv more than I read which is okay because when you don't feel like reading, it's best not to read or else you might end up with lots of books you don't like.

I hope 2022 brings you lots of joy and tons of good things.

    Have a lovely new year.

  25. Happy New Year! I love viewing at least half of the time, which does cut down on reading. But I tell myself I am achieving "balance," which was one of my Words for the Year a while back. Have a great week filled with good things.

  35. Happy New Year Greg! It's perfectly ok to have a break or not have any plans. I currently don't have any plans beyond the usual but I am busy in my head planning. That's my favorite.
