Tuesday Tagline #177

Newsstand Library #U131 1960

Her pagan desires violated even the loose moral code of the marshlands!

Seriously? Her pagan desires?? Wow- I've showcased a few iffy taglines here over the years but I think this one might be the worst yet? :)

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week a new Top Ten list will be posted. Everyone is welcome to join. Link back so everyone can check out other bloggers' lists. It's a fun way to get to know fellow bloggers.

This week is Last Ten Books That Gave Me a Book Hangover. In other words, books that rocked. Let's see...

One of Us Is Next (One of Us Is Lying, #2)

Keep 'em coming McManus!!!!!

Alone in the Wild (Rockton, #5)

I'm in the middle of this one now so this is cheating a bit, but I'm loving it.

Sisters of the Vast Black

Loved it!!!!!

Night Shift (Fiction Without Frontiers)

Good stuff.

Harbor for the Nightingale (Stranje House, #4)

I can't wait for the next one.

Golden City Vol. 5: The Harrison File

My favorite graphic novel series right now.

That's all I got right now, so to make ten here are a few I'm hoping will be hangover- inducing! Well, not really, but you know.

To Be Taught, If Fortunate

The Andromeda Evolution (Andromeda #2)

Songs from the Deep

Good Girls Lie

  1. Alone in the Wild looks engrossing by its cover alone - and maybe a bit of a creepy read...!? :) So glad you're enjoying!! Happy Top Ten Tuesday, Greg.

  3. One of Us is Next is definitely one I need to read. I didn't LOVE the first book, but thought it was good enough to be curious about the sequel!

  4. I've never heard of The Sisters of the Vast Black but that cover alone I find interesting. Must go find out about it.

  9. One look at her pagan desires and I'd want to run a mile!!! I don't go in for this book hangover thing. I read, review, move on and that's it so no TTT for me this week!

  10. I couldn't think of ten books for this week's topic, but maybe that's because I haven't read any of these ;) There are several on here that I definitely want to read. Just haven't gotten to them yet.

    Happy TTT!

  20. Some awfully good titles there. Except for the pagan beauty.

  21. That tag line is amazingly bad! Someone got paid to write that! I think something is wrong with me because I don't get book hangovers but I do see several on your list.

  22. That cover art from Swap Girl looks vintage - like a Harold Robbins pick from way back LOL

  33. One of Us is Nest and Good Girls Lie sound like fantastic books. I love a great book hangover, so I should really get on these one day. Great list! :)

  34. Her pagan desires... definitely is a seriously iffy tagline, haha!

    ReplyDelete
  35. I am still waiting for my copy of One of Us is next!!!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Okay that truly is the best worst tagline ever 😂 Ugh, book hangovers, honestly I have overbooked myself (pun absolutely intended) with review books so there is no stopping this train, I am afraid. So maybe I had one but who can even tell? Sisters of the Vast Black DEFINITELY qualifies! I want a whole series tbh. And one of these days, maybe we will both get to To Be Taught. I also want to read One of Us is Next, mostly because I keep seeing it on these lists haha.
