Cosmic Covers #2

Cosmic Covers is a semi- regular feature where I'll share some favorite comic book or graphic novel covers. The defining characteristic will be that the covers will usually have a cosmic, or science fiction, slant. Not always, but usually. And as usual let me know in the comments what you think- which are your favorites?

  1. I used to want the solar system painted on my bedroom ceiling as a kid but my mum wasn't having that! If I had a big house I'd have themed rooms ie a solar system room with big space murals and planets hanging from the ceiling! I'd love a Japanese garden room, an Ancient Egypt room, a Lost World room with dinosaurs, an underwater world with coral reefs and sea creatures...that would all be so cool!

    1. Starfire does look awesome. The same creative team did Jetsons recently and as silly as it sound it was pretty good!

  5. I LOVE THE COVERS FOR ALL OF THESE. I'm swooning. The older ones make me a bit nostalgic for when I worked at an antique shop and I used to get to look through the comics we'd get occasionally. It's always so fun looking at the art.

  8. I didn't expect the Gamora cover. Her design is so much different then what I've been envisioning thanks to the movies. She looks younger. The Fantastic Four cover makes it seem like the story will be fun. Also, I love Starfire so I like that cover as well. It seems you really like Silver Surfer. Are there any comics of his you prefer?

  11. These are great, Greg! I would have to say that Starfire is my favorite of this group. I like that it is a pretty simple design and I like the way her hair has a life of its own.

  14. I really like Starfire 3- such a clever use of hair! And the LEO ones (as that is the only easy way to spell that stuff hah) are fabulous too, and make me want to read them even more- though I like the idea of the stories too!

  16. I love that Starfire one every time you share it. The colors make it so striking. And the floating hair lol. But I also love that purple creature right in the front of that other Starfire one lol.
