  1. I haven't read a Kelley Armstrong book in AGES. I'm so behind on her books but I hope you'll enjoy Watcher in the Woods. The cover looks spooky!

  3. The premise and setting of Armstrong's book is intriguing. I have not read any of these mysteries, but I have seen lots of praise around the blogosphere for her.

  4. The Watcher in the Woods looks great - I do like her work. But I'm fascinated by the Rachel Vincent series and plan to treat myself once I've trimmed down my TBR pile. I look forward to hearing how you get on with this one, Greg!

    1. I need to finish the Vincent book, I've had a few books going and you know the more you read, the less you get done- or at least in my case. :)

  7. I used to like walking in the woods near where I live but with the kind of books I read, creepy covers and bad things in the media, I think I'd think twice now!

    1. Right? You read some scary stuff, so the sound of twigs crackling or leaves rustling might get your alert up!

  13. Chernobyl Diaries was soooooo bad! Like, not even so bad it is good. Just effing awful. I walked out of that movie mourning the brain cells I lost in watching that garbage. Keep books nearby so when you feel yourself getting dumber from watching it, you can pause it and read to regain those cells!

    1. Ha ha thank YOU for the recommendation! Although...part of me kinda liked it? *ducks* I mean, I was expecting it to be horrible, and to be fair it was, but... I enjoyed it a LITTLE???

  14. Chernobyl Diaries - "It's getting dark soon." One of my favorite lines...ever! It was bad but entertaining. I NEED to start this Armstrong series. It's a shame I haven't since I've read all of the Women of the Underworld and the Cainsville books.

  16. I absolutely love Kelley Armstrong, I've read numerous books that she has published and this one looks like it's going to be amazing. Thanks for sharing it with me. I also need to get back to The 100 and finish the series.

If you get the chance, come by my blog and check out my Can't-Wait Wednesday post.

  18. I watched the trailer for The Chernobyl Diaries and oh wow I cannot. The blonde girl didn't even pronounce "nuclear" right! Though upon googling, I had a good chuckle finding out that child-soap-star-turned-pop-one-hit-wonder Jesse McCartney is in it 😂

How is Strange New World? If you are in fact actually reading it. And goodness, I need to read a Kelley Armstrong book! I have so many of them, what is wrong with me!? Also I must go rewatch The 100 because I don't even know where to start for my post. So good.

    1. See I didn't even know that. None of the actors were in anything I'd seen. It wasn't all bad though- just most of it.

I am reading Strange New World... very slowly. Not because it bad. I'm also reading Adrift cause I wanted an SF, so... my reading time is divided. :(

  21. I need to read Kelley Armstrong and I love that title! There was a movie by that name that scared me half to death when I was a kid though when I watched it as an adult it wasn't scary at all!

  22. I've only read one of those KArmstrong books in that series, I really need to catch up :)

  23. What are the Rockton books? I'll have to Google. :)

  24. I think I have the willies of walking through woods from all the horror books I have read and I will never do it alone! Why does this stuff always happen in the woods? Sorry it took me a bit to get back to you. I was in finals week! I made it! Check out my #SundayRoundup tomorrow to see how I did!
