This week we are looking at fall or autumn themed covers. Just perfect for October! This one seemed kind of challenging, I mean how many of these would I find, but in the end not too bad.
Looks like fall! Just don't, you know, mind the blood.
This seems like kind of a quintessential autumn book? I haven't read 'em though.
This looks like autumn with the color, and I don't know, just looks like fall to me?
One of my favorites- so colorful. And totally looks like leaves on the wet ground.
Haven't read it but love the festive, autumnal look.
Ooh kind of a spooky cover? I like the bare branches
This just looks autumn-y to me.
No leafage= fall!!!
That first one is actually doubly perfect since it's got the changing leaf, and it's got blood for Halloween! Forever has such a pretty cover.ReplyDelete
I agree- two great things! :)Delete
I LOVE bare branches like on the IN THE WOODS cover!! It's so creepy! Also, THE WOOD totally has the fall feels-- although I was super surprised to find out that it was a fantasy book. It looks like a mystery/thriller for sure!! Great list!ReplyDelete
I do too, especially this time of year when it's all spooky out lol with the bare trees. And also on covers! The Wood might be my favorite, but In the Woods is fabulous too.Delete
Wow, these are really some interesting covers. "Forever" is my favourite from your list :)ReplyDelete
Here's my TTT: 10 book covers that I fall in love at first sight
That is a great one!Delete
Very autumnal! Love this list :)ReplyDelete

Thanks Cora. :)Delete
OMG! How did I forget The Missing?! Smacking my head for that! Lol!! Great picks!ReplyDelete
Here's my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
I saw that cover and I was like ooh ooh!Delete
Oh you did such a better job than I did with this topic. So many great ones with leaves and trees all read super fall. Great picks!ReplyDelete
I had trouble at first! Not knowing if I wanted to go with just leaves or something else... you never know with these. :)Delete
I like the covers of Missing and Forever. I'm a Maggie Stiefvater and Kelley Armstrong fan! Have a great week! New follower.ReplyDelete
I haven't read Stiefvater but I like Kelley Armstrong. And both those covers are great!!Delete
You found so many great ones! I love all the leaves and colors on A Friend of Silence!ReplyDelete
I agree, that's an amazing cover!!Delete
Although not as autumnal in visuals as the others included, Into The Woods is the one that gives me most autumnal vibes because of the darker reads many of us tend to gravitate towards this time of year. Great list!ReplyDelete
I agree. There's something about that one, just a creepy great cover! And I love reading darker books this time of year.Delete
Great list. I especially like the Peanuts book! Tana French is perfect. Now if I can only sit down and read it. It's been on my TBR for a long time now.ReplyDelete
Thanks! The Peanuts book was a late addition and I wanted something whimsical.Delete
Great choices! I like that you put Linger; it does look like fall with the red! I'm actually reading In the Woods right now.ReplyDelete
I want to read In the Woods. And I agree the red is very much autumnal.Delete
These are very autumnal covers indeed! Happy fall reading!ReplyDelete
My TTT: https://dwellinpossibilityblog.wordpress.com/2017/10/10/top-ten-tuesday-fall-covers-and-themes/#more-13811
I really need to grab Mouse Guard. If I had done a traditional theme - I went more with Halloween/scary reads, The Wood and Missing would have definitely made my list. They are PERFECT autumn covers!ReplyDelete
I need to read Mouse Guard too, I keep thinking I will and I never have, And I think so too- love both of those!Delete
I love the Snoopy cover! A Killer Crop screamed fall to me too and The Wood is awesome! I hadn't heard of that one but now I want to know more about it just based off the cover! Great list!ReplyDelete
I have The Wood but it didn't grab me, so it's kind of on hold. Love the cover though! And I couldn't resist with the Snoopy cover!Delete
Such great choices, and the colors in the Killer Crop look so festive and bright. Hugs...ROReplyDelete
I know- makes me want to go there. :)Delete
Great autumn covers!ReplyDelete
In the Woods was such a good book, even if the ending made me angry! :D Love Kelley Armstrong, too. I've recently gotten into cozy mysteries so I'm going to have to check out A Killer Crop now!ReplyDelete
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thanks!
I still need to read it. And I'm a new convert to Armstrong, after reading a few of her books.Delete
I ead an occasional cozy and A Killer Crop looks fun!
Great list! I keep meaning to watch Outlander but I feel like I can't until I've read the books - if only they weren't all so huge!ReplyDelete
They are chunkster- I haven't read them or seen the show, but they look good.Delete
I've seen The Woods pop up a couple of times this week - just based on that cover I want to give it a try. :)ReplyDelete
Lauren @ Always Me
I do too- I have The Wood but haven't delved into it yet. I read the first chapter or two and it didn't grab me, but I'll go back to it.Delete
You've included some beautiful covers! :-)ReplyDelete
Nice blend of creepy and friendly. I like The Woods. Thanks for putting this together.ReplyDelete
I guess it is, hadn't thought of that! Thanks. :)Delete
I e never seen or heard of The Wood. I need to check it out now!!!ReplyDelete
I love that creepy cover!!Delete
Great picks, these all look gorgeous! I was worried I wouldn't find any good ones at first either, but in the end there really are so many great fall covers out there :)ReplyDelete
There are , but it took me a while to put this one together :)Delete
Ooh lovely autumnal books. The Wood is my favourite cover.ReplyDelete
I think that's my fave too. :)Delete
I love all the beautiful fall leaves on these covers. Great picks!ReplyDelete
I do too, this was a fun one!Delete
Great picks! I enjoyed seeing these beautiful covers. I just adore fall :)ReplyDelete
THanks, I love fall!Delete
I love Kelley Armstrong, but I haven't read Missing! Yay, leaves! I'm ready for them to cover the ground. Forever made my list, too! How could it not? #greatminds :)ReplyDelete
Ha ha good covers! :) I saw Missing and though oh I gotta use this.Delete
Oooh, OBSESSED with the cover for The Wood. What a great start to a fantastic list!ReplyDelete
Thanks, I love that cover!Delete
You did much better with this topic than I did. At first I wanted to do leaves but could only think of 2 covers, so I ended up just going with fall colors.ReplyDelete
I actually liked your list! I love the fall colors, reds and oranges.Delete
These covers are great, especially the first one! All your picks have such nice fall coloring.ReplyDelete
Thanks Elena! I saw the cover of The Wood and knew I had to lead off with that one. :)Delete
Missing and 'Silence' are both great features for today. Though I've not read any of these, I have heard of the former... and I just love all the fall vibes these covers are sporting!! :)ReplyDelete
Thanks so much for visiting Finding Wonderland, Greg.
Missing had a autumn vibe, as I recall, although I don't remember if it was actually set in fall.Delete
I love the changing colors of leaves around this time of the year, and you've chosen a lot of covers that show that. The Wood actually landed on my wishlist earlier this year because the cover caught my eye!ReplyDelete
~Mogsy @ BiblioSanctum
I LOVE that cover! And I agree- the changing leaves are one of my favorite things.Delete
This is quite a fun prompt! The first two were two that I thought of for sure. The Wood has an all-around fall feel to it, too. I like A Friend of Silence! Most autumn colors are so... blah, but not that one! Now i kind of want to do this prompt on some other Tuesday when I actually can. These are great choices!ReplyDelete
I thought so! I think The Wood is fabulous, looks like fall but blood??? A A Friend of Silence just totally looks autumnal!Delete
Is it weird that I like the cover of The Wood ?ReplyDelete
No! I love that cover. :)Delete
In the Woods has a nice cover and I like the colour of the Blake Crouch book. I like Killer crop too.ReplyDelete
Wow, these are all so very 'fall' to me! The Wood and A Killer Crop really stand out. You have some great choices for this TTT!ReplyDelete
I like this weeks theme. Everyone is coming up with gorgeous covers.ReplyDelete
And yay Snoopy!
For What It's Worth
Nice picks, Greg! I suggested Missing to another blogger for this same feature, so you see how I particularly like that cover, heheReplyDelete
I have to say, I really love the style of those cozy mystery covers. A Killer Crop looks really good.ReplyDelete
The Woods and Forever are both perfect fall covers!! As is Into the Woods as well!!ReplyDelete
I like the first one the best. I immediately thought Oct with that cover.ReplyDelete
Can I just say, I love that there is a Snoopy book on your list. =)ReplyDelete
Hi! I love Woodstock! :) All these are so Fall!ReplyDelete
I love that cover for A Killer Crop, but it does not look like a murder mystery to me! Must be a very cozy murder. :)ReplyDelete
This is a great list and I can't believe I forgot about Forever. I love seeing Snoopy and Woodstock on your list!ReplyDelete
Did you know they are making The Mouse Guard into an animated movie? I think it looks just like that cover illustration. You found a lot of covers with fall leaves!ReplyDelete
I love The Wood cover. That is really awesome! I also love the Cozy covers. They always look so inviting! Great picks for fall, Greg! :)ReplyDelete
Now I want to check out The Wood! man that cover is awesome! lolReplyDelete
A Killer Crop looks so good! Love those cozy covers :)ReplyDelete
Ooh I love the theme for this TTT! I bet it was kind of hard though. If the topic had been winter it would've been a piece of cake. It seems like so many books go from all things summer to immediately winter, not many set during the fall. I love the A Friend of Silence one!! That's my favorite one too! Sadly here the leaves aren't changing. It's still in the upper 80s. One of my trees is starting to bloom again! Everything is so confused!ReplyDelete
