Bookcover Spotlight #75

Here's a classic SF book with a neat cover. I like the futuristic city and the sense of danger, as the guy makes a jump for the sky-whatever-it-is.

  4. Is it weird that I totally get a Jetsons vibe off of this cover?

  6. Well that looks dangerous. Actually, those walkways in the building look dangerous too. They look like they're sloped with no actual stairs, and there are no railing or anything in the middle, so if you fall, you just die lol. Just a dangerous cover all around :-P

    1. You're right! I had not thought of that- how are those people not falling to their doom lol? And why is there a door (?) that just opens to the outside??? I hope he doesn't miss.

I'm getting vertigo now just thinking of running up those twisting, handrail deficient walkways... :)

  7. Definitely has a sense of danger with how he's jumping and she seems to be waiting for him/ picking him up int hat space craft thing. And then the two man who are in the building with some kind of weapon. I wonder what he's running from or escaping and who those people who seem to be chasing him are.

  8. From the sound of the title being ONE against Hurculum, seems like he splatters. Unfortunate, really. Hahha. No but seriously, it is a VERY unique cover, definitely sets a great tone for the book!
