Cover Characteristics Benches

Cover Characteristics is a meme by Sugar and Snark- every week a characteristic is selected and we post 5 books with that week's theme.

This week's pick- Benches

Benches. Sounds like an easy one. Right? Um, maybe. Actually it wasn't hard it's just I didn't find a lot that I liked. Goodreads even has lists. So I only went with five, and didn't find any in the fantasy genre at all. So here we go...

The Cherry Cola Book Club (A Cherry Cola Book Club #1)Absolutely, Positively (Lucy Valentine, #3)Ice Cream and Intrigue: A Nanny Blu Cozy Mystery (Summer in Diamond Bay, #3)

This is a nice whimsical cover

The Cherry Cola Book Club (A Cherry Cola Book Club #1)

This one is probably my favorite. It's bright and cheery and I like the effect of looking through the window at a commons or park.

Absolutely, Positively (Lucy Valentine, #3)

This one is a favorite too- I like the moon and the skyline in the back.

Ice Cream and Intrigue: A Nanny Blu Cozy Mystery (Summer in Diamond Bay, #3)

This one is just okay.

  1. I think I like the one for Crenshaw the most! Something about it makes me want to read the book. Absolutely Positively is a nice cover as well! I did not find the Goodreads list - it might have saved me some time spent rooting around my shelves!

    1. This wasn't my favorite topic lol- I found a lot I didn't use for whatever reason. I do like Absolutely, Positively though...I was tempted to just get my picks off the Goodreads list and be done but I didn't... :)

    1. I actually thought that one looked good too- or maybe I just like the cover. The Mississippi setting sounded good...

  3. Benches did not sound easy at all to me lol, which is why I didn't even try. Crenshaw is definitely my favorite though! I love the whimsical feel and just the artwork overall. Absolutely Positively is also cute :-)

  7. I like your picks! Even how the one has the benches in the background. I thought I'd find more like that but I didn't.

  9. Whimsical is a good way to describe that Crensaw cover, it looks so normal, but that big cat disrupts that feeling.
I love the cover for pane and Suffering, I actually have read that book, it's good!
