  1. So many great picks! I'm really looking forward to Truthwitch and the Immortals, as well. I hadn't heard of Death Sits Down to Dinner or Into the Dim, but those two are going on my wishlist for next year.

  3. The Incident on the Bridge sounds right up my alley. I love a good YA mystery. I'm also curious about Rebel, Bully...although I hope it doesn't take too much from The Breakfast Club. Great list!

    1. I think that might be one of my hotly anticipated books for 2016. I'm really curious about it. And Rebel, Bully... I'm hopeful too but not sure how that one will turn out. :)

  4. This is a great list, Greg. Tessa Arlen's book is one I am eager to read. And Truthwitch has been on my wish list since I first heard about it. The Incident on the Bridge sounds so good. As does Time Seige and The Immortals. So many good sounding books are coming out this year. And so many still from previous years to read . . . How will we read them all?!

    1. Thank you! I agree about the Tessa Arlen book. Can't wait! The Incident on the Bridge is another one I'm really looking forward to. Way too many books!!

  5. I sense some bad-a female characters coming your way this year. I just read about Rebel, Bully, Geek, Pariah. It should be interesting

    1. I think so too! After reading your comment I went back and looked, and yes most have female protags. Looking forward to some good stuff in 2016! :)

  6. Death Sits Down to Dinner is on my TBR as is The Incident on the Bridge. I'm toying with the idea of starting Game of Thrones. I don't watch the show but I'm so curious about the books! Great list!

    1. You should read Game of Thrones! I'll be honest, the books while occasionally edgy, are not as bad as the show which is very graphic (well produced, but graphic). And you get some wonderful character moments, which is what I think people come back for.

  7. If I see the Winds of Winter this year I will probably die of shock before I get a chance to read it! I have the first Claudia Gray Star Wars novel to read so I guess it was a good read for you!!

  10. Nice list! I'm totally intrigued by INTO THE DIM. I hadn't heard of THE INCIDENT ON THE BRIDGE before, but now I need to read it. Thanks for the heads-up :)

    Happy New Year!

  11. The Mercy Thompson series has been on my TBR list for years. Whatever you choose may 2016 get off to a good reading start.

  12. Great list!

Oh, btw, I love The 100 and just finished watching season 2. I'm reading for season 3 to start in January.

    Happy New Year!

  13. The Tessa Arlen series sounds like something I should read; I've put the first one on my list at the library. I'm also intrigued by Age of Myth and Truthwitch, though given the size of my TBR list, I'm waiting for reviews before I commit to either of them. I'll have to check out a few of the others; you often like books that I end up liking, too!

  14. I am looking forward to Lifeboat Clique as well. It looks so good!

  15. I totally forgot about the new Star Wars book! I have that on my Amazon wishlist. I'm looking forward to that (though I didn't finish Lost Stars--may come back to that one later). I also want to read Truthwitch and Into the Dim. I like this cover better than the one I found. I think it would appeal to teens more.

  16. Fire Touched is good and Death Sits Down to Dinner looks good. I hope they all live up to your expectations!

  17. I recognize only two of these books. Into the Dim has such a beautiful cover and it's all about time travelers so that's really intriguing. I usually steer clear away from time traveling but I don't know. I might give it a shot. I haven't read any Game of Thrones books but I feel so sorry for everyone who has to wait so long. There's a cover so that's something haha (:

  18. SO many of these are on my TBR too! Into the Dim, The Incident on the Bridge, Summer Days, Vicarious, Lifeboat Clique.. they all sound SO good. And like you, I am interested in Future Shock, but not 100% sure yet. (And truthfully, I agree with you about Truthwitch too- I am scared of the hype monster big time!) Fabulous choices!

  19. I think I saw an e-zine article that said The Winds of Winter has been postponed again. I have Truthwitch on my 2016 most wanted list, too. I stayed home NYE because it was too cold. My son was actually at home until a little after midnight, which was nice. I also had a few martinis, ha ha. Have a wonderful first week of 2016, Greg. :)
