Las Vegas!
Godzilla ends up there after wrecking a rather iconic dam, and getting washed into the desert.
And we get a story of a desperate gambler juxtaposed with Godzilla's tale.
The big G is rampaging through Vegas. Unfortunately the rest of Hoover Dam goes, and Vegas is destroyed (well, the Strip anyway) between the flood and G.
Would a flood even reach Vegas? I don't know but seems sketchy.
Oh, and our gambling story is a sad one, as we find out our gambler is delusional or has mental issues, sadly.
Hahahahahaa! Oh man, this makes me laugh. If only Las Vegas WAS washed away. Imagine all the celebrity weddings we could have missed out on!
ReplyDeleteGodzilla in Las Vegas! That's kind of awesome. :D
ReplyDeleteThis one looks like it's got it all. Cool premise! & artwork!
ReplyDeleteGreat that you got to the beach. Yeah, Sunday was a big hot wind here. We did get a bit of a cool front, but it was hot today too after a little rain. Though, expected to be cooler tomorrow. OH, and I hope those burritos were great. Definitely a mid-west pit stop (✿◕‿◕✿) in other news..I will probably be dragging all week!
Delete(✿◡‿◡)(u‿ฺu✿ฺ)I stayed in at the library all day! Cooler, but the smoke came with the cold front and everyone seemed to be coughing.🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁 When you mentioned the place it made me think of the time when we were looking for Netties (The best Mexican Food place around) We couldn't find it, and ended up in a place where everything was in Spanish. Of course, this didn't bother us since I had had some of the best Tacos in Acuna. Anyway, we ordered our food and everyone at the bar is watching us. Like, what in the world are they doing here. After the waiter brought out the hot plates, the cook (who looked like a Danny Trejo character came out with a leer to watch us eat.) Talk about smiles on her faces. We left a good tip too. It was good, but we didn't go back.
DeleteAlways a fan of the Godzilla cartoon
ReplyDeleteSiempre estoy a favor de Godzilla. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteI know Godzilla was a marine creature, but now, comes to desert....
ReplyDeletecool.
Yeah, not sure a flood of that size would reach Las Vegas from the Hoover Dam, but it's a fun visual!
ReplyDeleteYikes, a whole city being ruined is a lot! But the gambling makes this one sound a little more sad than fun.
ReplyDeleteI would love to do an entire wall of these covers in frames. 🖼
