We begin with a stunning shot of a moonlit operation to find survivors. Last issue Golden City was sunk and it doesn't look good- dive teams find bodies everywhere- while at the same time Mifa makes an escape. She needs to help her friends, though, who are still being held. I love the line about American shows being violent.
Mifa goes to get help and ends up working with Amber- and we also see what happened in Golden City before it sank. This is pretty fun- self contained too in that we get some resolution of the storyline regarding the orphans. Amber also has some resolution. All told a good one.
Yes it looks good
ReplyDeleteSuch unique and lovely artwork to pull you in. Looks like an amazing premise. Thanks so much!>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> And yes, that is the woman from YellowJackets.
ReplyDeleteDr.Qin Medical Examiner Mind Reader has an intriguing beginning. And I have liked many of the episodes, but I have been told it gets kind of crazy near the end. Just 28 episodes and each one is just a little over 30 minutes each. It is on Viki, at the moment. Gala had been in a similar series Insect Detective that I watched on You Tube. I hear there will be Insect Detective 2.
That's a really cool cover!
ReplyDeleteNeat cover! Glad to hear the series continues to entertain. :)

ReplyDeletePretty cover and I like that it's somewhat self contained.
