This week I'm going rogue again. Topic is being chased- a variation on a theme I did back in oh 2018 I think.
Why are they chasing her?
Stranded on an island
This was a trip
Trapped under NYC in abandoned subway tunnels... and being hunted. Yes please.
Nasty faeries and a group being picked off one by one- what's not to like?
I loved this- with a character named Chalice Frost how could I not?
I rather liked this urban fantasy carnival.
More urban fantasy carnival
A town off the grid and lotsa secrets.
Nasty faeries and a group being picked off one by one- what's not to like?
Trapped by a blizzard and a killer on the prowl.
Ooh does a zombie apocalypse count?
I loved this- with a character named Chalice Frost how could I not?
I rather liked this urban fantasy carnival.
More urban fantasy carnival
Poor Lana saw something she shouldn't have
I went rogue too! I like your theme this week!
ReplyDeleteOOh nice topic and picks!! Yeah I struggled with this week's topic as I apparently don't have many resources I use! Lol. Looooooved Echoes! And Three Days to Dead, Menagerie, Ten, Survive the Night--positively my favorite of her books! Great picks!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
"Chased" is always a great theme in books. The Woods Are Always Watching by Stephanie Perkins would fit with that as well.
ReplyDeleteFun theme! Being chased by a killer - yikes!
ReplyDeleteYou think of such cool themes!
ReplyDeleteI went rogue, too! What a cool theme. :)

I've gone rogue for so many weeks in a row, I feel ya! hahaha :D Happy reading! My TTT https://readwithstefani.com/10-books-about-books-on-my-tbr/
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy coming to your blog and seeing how creative you get with the themes. Here is my post-https://paigesofbook.blogspot.com/2021/10/top-ten-tuesday-favorite-online-bookish.html.
ReplyDeleteGreat topic theme! Thank you for reminding me about Ten! I've been meaning to read it around this time of year for ages and I totally forgot about it until now, haha. City of the lost Sounds really good, as does Survive the Night. I remember liking Freeks as well. Great list, I think I need to add quite a few to my TBR!
ReplyDeleteBeing trapped under a subway and hunted sounds horrible. I'm sure it made for a great story, though! Nice topic choice.
ReplyDeleteThese all have such an eerie vibe! Great selection.
ReplyDeleteEchoes has such a great cover. Very atmospheric.
ReplyDeleteTen and This Is Not a Test were fun reads. And I absolutely love City of the Lost! Great list, Greg. :)
ReplyDelete13 looks sweeter than it is
ReplyDeleteOoh, I like this theme! But some of those covers give me the creeps, I don't think these books are for me...
ReplyDeleteYour topic has my gears turning. Interesting. I only read the Rachel Vincent book, but I liked it.
ReplyDeleteI really need to pick up Survive the Night. I just listened to a short story about traveling through subway tunnels which was very eerie.
ReplyDeleteOne of these days I need to read Menagerie.
ReplyDeleteGreat topic for this time of year! Nice and creepy. Ten is on my TBR and one of these years I'll actually read it. An Unwanted Guest is also on my list and What She Saw looks like another book I'd like.
ReplyDeletenice spookiness for the season!
ReplyDeleteFun topic! I love a good cat and mouse novel. I've read a few of these, but there are some here that I still need to check out.
ReplyDeleteVery cool theme and selection of covers!
ReplyDeleteMy sister read Menagerie. She really liked it. ๐
ReplyDeleteJust see it as a twist, we always chase for information on those sites.
ReplyDeleteBut an interesting topic.
Thanks for visiting my TTT earlier.
This is a cool take on a TTT! (and also a zombie apocalypse totally counts!)
ReplyDeleteOoh, great choice of theme today! All of these look like the perfect seasonal reads. Honestly, the idea of being chased anywhere is absolutely terrifying ๐
ReplyDeleteGreat twist today Greg!
ReplyDeleteLove the twist on the theme and some good books. I obviously adore City of the Lost and Rockton is filled with plenty of mystery, everybody is running from something.
ReplyDeleteThese all sound like awesome books. :D And I like that you chose the theme of being chased, that's such a scary thing.

I love this theme! Books with chase scenes are the best๐
