Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week a new Top Ten list will be posted. Everyone is welcome to join. Link back so everyone can check out other bloggers' lists. It's a fun way to get to know fellow bloggers.
This week is Favorite Book Quotes. That seems like too much work and I think I did this a while back, so I'm going to continue a recent theme and look at younger slanted book covers. Especially covers that seem a bit off or maybe are a bit questionable? Lets take a look see.
Your book choices always crack me up. Thanks for the laughs. My TTT quotes

I have read some Sweet Valley High books and I remember them to be a bit campy. These are fun and amusing. I can't tell if some of these titles are real or makeup but it's fun to see them.

I haven't thought of the Sweet Valley High books in years! What a blast from the past.
ReplyDeleteHere is our Top Ten Tuesday.
These made me laugh - especially the Sweet Valley High books. That first one is crazy and eve worse because it's a real one! I was never a fan as a kid but I read one as an adult and was surprised by how racey they were!
ReplyDeleteNow I'm wondering what the real titles for those Sweet Valley High and Twins books were. I know I read the originals.
ReplyDeleteOMG, I just laughed at loud at Shit, Where's My Weed. :) Good thing I'm I'm home alone.

ReplyDeleteNice using book titles as quotes. https://pmprescott.blogspot.com/2020/09/ttt-092920.html
ReplyDeleteHilarious! The sad thing is that it's a bit hard to tell which ones are real and which ones aren't. At least, I'm assuming there's a mix? I went through a (mercifully brief) Sweet Valley phase when I was young. I know some of those title are fake but they would probably be real if the books were being written today!
ReplyDeleteCounting the Days Until The Apocalypse seems appropriate. :)
ReplyDeleteCheck out my TTT
lol, I need a copy of The Sasquash Mysteries!
ReplyDeleteI had to look up the real titles to some of these. ;-) Great choices.
ReplyDeleteI used to read all the SVH books when I was about 11 and I loved them! I did read Trixie but can't remember if I liked them! Oh dear, a big no to Pennies And Pins!!!

ReplyDeleteSo that’s what the Sweet Valley High twins look like, I’m listening to a podcast just now where they’ve been discussing a book where they go to London and investigate werewolves, its just so daft on so many levels!
