Another Friday is here and I'm composing this as I enjoy some Chinese takeout. How are you? I've been binging some Netflix this week- mostly Away and 3%. Want to get back to Riverdale too. I know.
I may have spoken too soon on new Blogger. I haven't had too much trouble but this week I started having issues saving images, so that's been a pain.
To start off I'm sharing some Pink Panther fun I stumbled over this week.

I'm really digging these Japan walking tours.
Amazing
Some ambience
Mmm. Chinese takeout sound delicious. I was just thinking that I should stop being lazy and get some food. How's Away? I need a new show. Happy reading!

Those videos of San Francisco are so eerie! I love seeing the Pink Panther. Its been years since I've watched a clip😁
ReplyDeleteYum, Chinese! Sounds like a perfect Friday night!
ReplyDeleteThe new Blogger does have some kinks. And I don't think it's as easy to find stuff on it as it was on the Legacy. Sigh. Why does everything have to change for the worse? Hope you have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteImages are my primary issue with the new blogger but I'm hoping it gets smoother both on their end and mine! Chinese food sounds delicious. We haven't found a Chinese place here that looks worth trying and I miss it. On the plus side we have great barbecue here in Memphis so I guess it evens out! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI was chatting with someone on Twitter about difficulties with images. I have not had any, but I did notice they changed the image edit options even since I started using new blogger (they are better, I swear). I hope you work it out and that your food was great.
ReplyDeleteHow is Away? I am interested in checking it out, love the Mars/sci-fi aspect but the poster and description makes it look more like a family drama, which I like too, but just wondering what the balance is. Right now though, my husband and I are working our way through Cobra Kai, I'm loving it!

I always switch back to the old blogger.
ReplyDeletePlease hand me some Chinese over *smile* I am now officially at war with the new blogger. Uploading images is not working and some HTML code I like to use in my reviews is not working either. So you are not alone with this, Greg! Enjoy your binge watching and have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteOoo I hope you enjoyed your Chinese takeaway - We enjoyed a 'chippy' dinner on Friday. 😋 Also so pleased your still enjoying the Japan walking tours and I have been watching similar ambience videos as I have been relaxing before bedtime recently. Take care and happy reading. 😃
ReplyDeleteUrg! I hate that bit when you have more or less figured out how to use the new system - and then start stubbing your toes against the things it CAN'T do...
ReplyDeleteLove the pics this week - that mermaid is fabulous. But the pictures of San Francisco are far too sci fi for comfort:((. Glad you have a great Chinese - we are a tad fed up with the vegan options at ours. Have a great week, Greg:)
Oh bummer, hope you figure out the kinks in the new blogger! I just love Pink Panther now that was just some fun cartoon right there! Not like todays stuff!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week and happy reading!

Week in Review
Ah...Pink Panther. It's been awhile since I saw one of those skits! Comedy is always a good remedy in times of stress.
ReplyDeleteI haven't had Chinese in ages... Need to go visit the restaurant next to the china shop. That is a big thing in SA!!
ReplyDeleteI love Pink Panther when I was younger and the movies are classics.
I'm still okay with blogger, mainly sizing of photos that I struggle with here and there, but I think it might be a download/copyright thing. If I use my own photos, no problem at all. If I download, you need to tweak.
Anyway! Hope you will have a wonderful week. Here's my The Sunday Post #12
Watching Pink Panther video made me so nostalgic. Thanks for sharing. I hope you get the issues solved with Blogger.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you had some troubles with saving images due to the new blogger. It's always a bit of a hassle when things like that change and there are some complications with the new version. Thanks for sharing some nice art to look at. I hope you'll have a great week.
ReplyDeleteI haven't had any issues saving images (thankfully) but I did notice they've changed the sizing options *again* which is annoying. The Pink Panther clip was super nostalgic. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the ambiance videos! And that picture with the person leading the dinosaur is a story waiting to be written!
ReplyDeleteOur local Chinese food place is either out of business or on a long hiatus. Either way it sucks. I loved their food. My daughter started watching The 100 and I forgot how good the first season was. I may have to get back to it. I think we left off at season 4? Not sure but I wasn't entirely thrilled with it so I lost interest. I say this because I wonder if you're current? If so, what do you think? Wondering if Clarke ever got with Bellamy...
ReplyDeleteI'm almost afraid to find out what happened, lol!
DeleteI haven't had any problems with images yet but they seem to be changing things still.
ReplyDeleteI would not mess with that mermaid! Her nails and eyes definitely shout a warning! I hope Blogger starts behaving. Enjoy your week!
ReplyDeleteOoo, that dinosaur - the coloring throws me off.
ReplyDeleteYay for Chinese takeout!
ReplyDeleteAnd that sucks about the new Blogger! I know a lot of people have been having trouble with the new Wordpress editor too, but I literally just switched to Squarespace. It's very easy to use but definitely has some limitations as far as blogging goes!
Have a great week!
Oh no! I hope new blogger settles down for you again 🤞. I've been watching Young Sheldon on HBO and loving it. I think I'll re-watch BBT after. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThere does seem to be something going on with photos, as I have had some trouble this week also. It doesn't always resize the photo and I have to do it twice for it to hold. But it seems to have worked itself out now. Hope the problems get fixed for you as well!
ReplyDeleteWow now I want Chinese food, I haven't had any in ages! Also can we please talk about poor, sweet Rachel above me who has NO IDEA what she and her daughter are in for?
ReplyDeleteOH and I thought that those Blade Runner videos were current San Francisco and was mildly pleased that they aren't? I mean, today, give it a couple weeks. Sorry about Blogger, that is so frustrating. As always, I recommend WP for just... ease of everything. I mean it's money, but not a ton and if it saves time, you know?
Yum, I made Spring Rolls for dinner last week, but they are never as good as from the Chinese takeaway.
ReplyDeleteI can see you’ve had hassles with images, most of them spill off the page. WP changes have also screwed with images. It’s so annoying.
Wishing you a great reading week
Hope the images issue is resolved eventually. Why do they muck around with what isn't broke! I've been doing a little viewing too, but that means less reading!
ReplyDeleteThe new Blogger is frustrating. It's hard to work with HTML and images. Maybe I'll get better at it.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good week!
It's been ages since I watched some Pink Panther! and I found out that the one above was the first ever short comedy featuring the character.
ReplyDeleteEh, New Blogger. Every user seems to have different issues with it...but everyone has some. One thing for sure, it used to be much more user-friendly. And it threatened to eat half my posts, for goodness' sake (I'll probably write a blog post about it one day). I'm finding shortcuts around it, but still - NOT happy. Everything takes twice the time now.
Have a nice week!
Mmm . . . Chinese food. I love that stuff. I’ve also been having issues with images in the new Blogger. It took me hours to format a post yesterday. I really hope the problems get fixed quickly. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
mmm Chinese takeout. I love dumplings.
ReplyDeleteGlad the blogger editor isn't too bad, I'm getting used to the Wordpress upgrade so posting is a little easier now.
Cool dinosaur art.
Happy reading this week!
Mmm Chinese takeout! I have been wanting Thai so badly, I think we are going to get it Friday. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a good week!
I haven't had Chinese takeout in quite a long time. I did order a BQ chicken salad from Hometime Pizza a few nights ago.
ReplyDeleteI've been watching Ratched on Netflix.
Great art this week! I also started AWAY and need to get back to it.
ReplyDeleteWe've had to give up on carry out Chinese -- too much sodium. But my brother made a great stir fry this past week to satisfy the need. I'm still learning the new Blogger and just when I think I've got it something changes again. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteLove the T-Rex. We ordered pizza over the weekend, since it is my go to comfort food when I am sick..lol I am binging Lucifer and devouring audiobooks. Hope your week is amazing!
ReplyDeleteSo it's not only Wordpress but Blogger changed too? Damn Greg I hope you'll get to save your images easily!
ReplyDeleteI really need to get back to Riverdale too. I'm about halfway through season 3 and was enjoying it but then got sidetracked by something else. Sorry to hear you're having issues with the new Blogger. Hope it gets sorted soon.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping to start watching 3% pretty soon. It sounds pretty good. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the Pink Panther theme music! 😁
ReplyDeleteThe Japanese walking tours are really enjoyable. 👍✨
I hope you are having a wonderful week. 🌞
Every week seems to bring a fresh hell and a new issue with Blogger! I took a week away from it to try and deal with other stuff needing doing but I ended up relaxing in my garden with the four squirrels that come to feed there. They are such funny and quirky guys!
ReplyDeleteSo, Away and 3% are recommended? I might have to check them out.
