Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week a new Top Ten list will be posted. Everyone is welcome to join. Link back so everyone can check out other bloggers' lists. It's a fun way to get to know fellow bloggers.
This week is Top Ten Books I've Added To My TBR and Forgotten Why. I decided to go rogue on this one and instead am doing books that feature dinosaurs or prehistoric elements. Because why not?
The extinctions Trial looks interesting for me....love to read prehistoric things....
ReplyDeleteHave a great day
This is such a neat list. Can you believe I have never read Journey to the Center of the Earth or Jurassic Park?
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.

I am surprised you haven't read Jurassic Park. Neither have I, come to think of it. Oh man. This is a tough week. I want my TBR to go down in size not up, but I'm afraid I'll be adding books to my list tonight based on the books people list. My TTT list of books I don't remember why I wanted to read
ReplyDeleteWhoever is in charge of designing these Edgar Rice Burroughs covers should get an award. I did not know how how much my life needed the glorious image of a dude spear-threatening a stabby-horned Triceratops with murder in his eyes and bared teeth; thank you so much for bringing this to our attention.
ReplyDeleteI really need to read Journey to the Center of the Earth and Wesley Chu's books.
ReplyDeleteI never knew Tarzan fought dinosaurs! I love the Fractured Tide tagline.
ReplyDeleteI am in the same boat as you. I didn't know that Tarzan did as well.
DeleteWhy not indeed! I love love the retro covers that you always find!
ReplyDeleteI really like dinosaur books, but like others I had no idea that Tarzan had a book about that.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT .
Why not indeed!! I did read a couple of SM Stirling books years ago. I believe they were time travel but I would have to have a look at the synopsis to be sure.
ReplyDeleteGreat list! I was obsessed with dinosaurs when I was a little girl, so I really should check some of these out.
ReplyDeleteYes, you have put together quite an interesting collection of books and reminders from the past! Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteI have Ivory and Bone on my TBR, but haven't read it yet!

Tarzan was around with the dinos?! Haha that's incredible! I super love the covers for the Extinction Trials books! The pop of colour is even more eye-catching with the illustration! Great list :)
ReplyDeleteWait? Tarzan fought dinosaurs? That's hilarious! I do not believe I have read any fiction books featuring dinosaurs. (don't worry, I have seen the original Jurassic Park movie, and watched Land of the Lost as a kid)
ReplyDeleteThe covers of The Extinction Trials are so creepy!
ReplyDeleteFractured Tide looks like such a great read!
ReplyDeleteHere is our Top Ten Tuesday.
Why not go rogue? I love it! I never really thought about how many dinosaur books there are aside from children's books.
ReplyDeleteI love books with dinos and prehistoric creatures...so great choice! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not at all into fantasy or sci fi, but Journey to the Center of the Earth is great! I read it aloud to my son.

Going rogue is always fun :) I'm not big into dinosaur or prehistoric type books, so the only one I've read on here is JURASSIC PARK. FRACTURED TIDE sounds amazing, though. I'm going to add that one to my TBR list on Goodreads.
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
This list would end up being about 90% of my books lol I rarely remember why I add or buy books. It's even worse with the Kindle because it's a pain to read the summary.
ReplyDeleteMy friend is starting to read these prehistoric type books and I referred her to your blog.

Going rogue is such a good thing sometimes! Great topic, I love it. The covers for The Extinction Trials are AMAZING! Are they good and do I need to add them to my TBR??
ReplyDeleteI love that you went rogue and what a great topic. I STILL need to get my hands on those Extinction books. And I love the cover on The Complete Land that Time Forgot.
ReplyDeleteJurassic Park - classic!
ReplyDeleteCool list. I remember reading Journey to the Center of the Earth by Jules Verne in middle school!
ReplyDeleteMy TTT list!
Such a great selection of covers! I especially love the ones for Jurassic Park and Time Siege.
ReplyDeleteI loved the Time Salvager - I need to read that sequel. Now that I know it has dinosaurs and / or prehistoric elements I can't wait any more!
ReplyDeleteI liked the Edgar Rice Burroughs books! Dinosaurs are awesome!
ReplyDeleteHere's my list: https://speedyreadercom.wordpress.com/2020/06/09/ttt-10-tbr-books-ive-forgotten-about/

ReplyDeleteI love that you went rogue - what an interesting topic for a top 10 too. I haven't read any of these. I think a friend of mine read and enjoyed Jurassic Park though - I mean, among many others, I'm sure. LOL

*takes notes, because I love dinosaurs et al*
ReplyDeleteGreat cover for Fractured Tide and intriguing! I so love the Extinction Trials covers-I'd have loved another three books so I could get green, orange and red covers too. Yes to dinosaurs of every kind!
ReplyDeleteI didn't remember that the Eshbaugh books were prehistoric in nature; intriguing. 👍✨
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've read any books with dinosaurs. I might need to change this.
