Kneel Or Bleed
Okay then!!
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week a new Top Ten list will be posted. Everyone is welcome to join. Link back so everyone can check out other bloggers' lists. It's a fun way to get to know fellow bloggers.
This week is Top Ten Books I'd Give Different Titles To. Another title post, although I think this one's a little tougher than last week's- at least for me.
It's Been A Long, Long Autumn
Is winter EVER coming???
Yet Another Clone Book
Although I did like this one
Number One DNF
Okay maybe that's harsh, but this one was a big disappointment. I was expecting a book with a lot of heart, and yeah maybe some Chinese restaurant goodness too, but this was kind of depressing.
Need More Hippos
Seriously- too much talking, not enough hippos
I struggled with this one too, so I kind of piggy backed off your idea of how to rename books. Seemed easier than trying to think of a "better" name for the books.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT: Marie @ Pages to Explore
Bahaha Need More Hippos! I have this one of my TBR - I have a feeling I will say that too. I like my creature features to have lots of CREATURES lol

I usually like titles so I couldn't think of any examples hence I changed up the assignment and listed books we know which almost had different titles. My TTT
ReplyDeleteHa Need More Hippos. Now I need to check that book out.
ReplyDeleteYes I want to know that Winter Is Coming! I need to get my paws on that book NOW!
ReplyDeleteI would definitely read a book called Need More Hippos. Great list!
ReplyDeleteOh man "Yet Another Clone Girl" really gave me a giggle, although I absolutely love that trope.

I can't stop giggling at It's Been a Long, Long Autumn.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT.
More Hippos! Hungry Hippos! Fun picks. Here's my list: https://speedyreadercom.wordpress.com/2019/10/22/ttt-books-that-need-a-warning-in-their-title/
ReplyDeleteHahaha I love this post, Greg! You had me cracking up with all these titles 🤣Need More Hippos... Number One DNF... Bahahaha! My post-holiday brain is so sun-dazed that I couldn't even think of one title change for this week's prompt, so I did a really easy alternative lol
ReplyDeleteNeed more hippos - I love it! I wanted to read that series and then when I learned there weren't as many hippos as I was anticipating I scratched it! As you know, I did this topic last week because I messed up but I agree, it was pretty hard.
ReplyDeleteHaha, great choices, this was definitely a difficult prompt!
ReplyDeleteI had such a hard time with this week's theme I did something else instead!
ReplyDeleteMy Top Ten Tuesday!
Happy reading! :)
LOL I love all your taglines, they are perfect! :P
ReplyDeleteI would read a book called Need More Hippos.
ReplyDeleteAnd, no, I don't think he'll ever finish book 7.
Totally agree with Winds of WInter! UGH!
ReplyDeleteI like "Is Winter Ever Coming?" https://pmprescott.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteI didn´t do the TTT this week but your list of new titles is great! Kneels of Bleed is so fitting for this book *lol* Happy reading.
ReplyDeleteAnd that happens when you don´t look at your screen while writing. I wanted to write "Kneel Or Bleed", sorry.:-)
DeleteThese titles are so funny. I love it. Here is my post-https://paigesofbook.blogspot.com/2019/10/top-ten-tuesday-5-star-predictions.html.
ReplyDeleteHaha your title Number One DNF made me laugh... although I don't think it would help sell books.
ReplyDeleteSome intriguing ones!
ReplyDeleteNeed more hippos????? WTH? Bwahahah Greg I don't know what you mean here but that made me laugh !
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fun topic and I love reading peoples take on it.
ReplyDeleteKaren @ For What It's Worth
Need More Hippos was my favorite! :D
ReplyDeleteOh, no! Number One DNF. Definitely not a good sign for that book.
ReplyDeleteLOL at Number One DNF!
ReplyDeleteIt's Been a Long, Long Autumn- sad but true, lol! What really gets me about no Winds of Winter any time soon is GRRM's meh attitude about it. When/if it ever gets published, he'll still get my money, but begrudgingly lol.
ReplyDeleteThey were all fun, especially "Need More Hippos" 😂. I suppose there were funny hippo interludes in that one...amidst a river of blah (that could be another alternate title, I would assume? LOL).
ReplyDeleteHahahaha, these are great! Although, doesn't every book need more hippos? 😂
ReplyDeleteIt WAS hard! I took an easier spin on my TTT!
ReplyDeleteNot gonna lie, I'm totally laughing at some of these alternative titles. Love that titles for Winds of Winter because is that book ever coming? And can Need More Hippos please be a book title? I'd read that book in a heartbeat.
ReplyDeleteThe Red Queen Series has such beautiful and simplistic covers! I feel the pain of George R. R. Martin fans! I have a quite a few series that have been hanging in there for 8+ years at this point waiting for a sequel of some kind. The worst part is when the author simply disappears from social media never to be heard from again
ReplyDeleteKneel or Bleed made me laugh! I've only read the first book in the series, but it's pretty accurate. I really loved your spin on this!

Lol these are hilarious!!!
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome! I actually laughed out loud at your Winds of Winter title 😂😂
ReplyDeleteBwhahah I love these! Especially Need More Hippos because honestly it DOES need more hippos. Don't advertise as a hippo book unless you have ALL the damn hippos!
ReplyDeleteLolol love the title for Winds of Winter... its been so long!
