This week I'm looking at Wouldn't It Be Good by Nik Kershaw. Such a catchy little tune, although to look at the lyrics it might seem a little melancholy? But I think it has an amazing message of realizing that other people don't always have it better- and even if they do, your life is your own, you're the only you there is ever gonna be, so take your life and live it. I think it's positive.

I always thoughts the lyrics were a little melancholy for the more upbeat/light-hearted music. (Ans the video was just strange. I never could figure out what he was supposed to be. An alien?)

DeleteSo just reading the lyrics, it almost sounds like it should be a duet. But the singer reveals themselves to be very judgmental. Just because someone's like looks good from the outside doesn't mean it is.
