I really should listen to more podcasts! I heard there are some great ones out there. Maybe I will take a look (listen!) to the ones you posted. ;)
ReplyDeleteI am terrible at podcasts! There's just no time!!!
DeleteFun way to put your spin on the topic, Greg. Gotta love pairing books with other popular sources of storytelling. Hope you enjoy these podcasts. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! Now if I can just carve out some time for podcasts. :)
DeleteI love Kids in America and totally agree. I would love to listen to some podcasts but I never get around to it :/

ReplyDeleteSorry! I went awfully wrong! ;) I love what you've done with the list this week!
DeleteOH YES re Thor and Immigrant song, Best musical choice yet! (Aside from Cpt Marvel ;)
ReplyDeleteI think so!!
DeleteThe Green Door Podcast and Prancing Pony sound interesting. Usually when I listen to podcasts it's either news podcasts or Spanish ones.
ReplyDeleteI hardly listen to podcasts, due to time, but I want to try both of those!
DeleteZeppelin! 😍
ReplyDeleteI have tried listening to pocasts, but they put me to sleep. Maybe I should listen during the day. Ha ha. I will still check out The Prancing Pony, though. 👍✨
Yes! And I'm horrible w/ podcasts, but I wanna at least find time for these two.
DeleteYay! The Immigrant Song is awesome! The facts that its basically Thor's theme now is a brilliant added bonus. 😁
ReplyDeleteThat was amazing!!!
DeleteOOh nice twist to the topic! I'm not really an audio-type person apparently! I listen to music, but only when driving and my ipod hasn't been updated in years so I am listening to the same music I did some odd years ago! Lol.
ReplyDeleteHere's my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
Ha ha I don't do well either and I have no time for podcasts, even though I want to try a ton!
DeleteGreat list! Those podcasts sound really interesting, I'll have to check them out.
ReplyDeleteCool spin on this week's topic. I loved it when Union of the Snake was on Riverdale too. I don't think I had heard that song in at least 10 years so it made me very nostalgic, lol.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I love Union of the Snake and may have listened to it again last night!!
DeleteNo I have to check out the Riverdale Soundtrack! lol I also need to finish watching it. I need to find more Podcasts. I am still listening to Welcome to Night Vale! :)
ReplyDeleteRiverdale kills it with music!!!
DeleteGreat take on the topic! Love Kids in America. I am always looking for podcasts so need to check those out.
ReplyDeleteI like that too. :)
DeleteLove how you did your post and honestly, I love how Riverdale has remixed some of the older tunes. I loved The Union of the Snake version and also Dream Warriors. Have you listened to The Books in the Freezer podcast? It's probably my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI have not, but I will certainly check that out! And yes Riverdale does phenomenally with their music!
DeleteI'm pretty curious about the Green Door podcast.
ReplyDeleteMy Top Ten Tuesday post.
I am too!!
DeleteThe same for me: never have enough time to listen to podcasts.
ReplyDeleteThey just always seem to get short shrift from me.
DeleteI love finding songs that remind me of certain books!! I need to try and listen to more podcasts too. I do enjoy them.

I do too!
DeleteThis is why I love the MCU - they introduced me to so many great songs! Well, not only why...
ReplyDeleteThe guardians soundtrack was inspired!
DeleteI can't tell you how many podcasts I follow on Spotify and yet... I listen to pretty much none of them. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteThis is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
Ugh I have SO many podcasts I wanna try...
DeleteI used to listen a lot of podcasts, but lately audiobooks have won! Maybe inspired by your post I'll start listening them again :)
ReplyDeleteI need to try more audiobooks!
DeleteYay for The Breakfast Club!!! I know you like Game of Thrones. You should try the podcast I listen to called Game of Owns. They do chapter analysis of the books and then show analysis when the series is on. I usually just listen to them during the time the show is on. They have lots of great insight.
ReplyDeleteOoh I'm gonna bookmark that one!
DeleteNice twist on this week's TTT post!! I've listened to a few podcasts in my day and enjoyed many of them.
ReplyDeleteHere's a link to my TTT post: https://captivatedreader.blogspot.com/2019/03/top-ten-tuesday-audiobook-freebie-my.html?showComment=1553617757328#c4963295880076597634
Thanks!!
DeleteI never really make time for podcasts either. Maybe I should try someday. People seem to really like them.
ReplyDeleteThey do, and I always seem to prioritize them lowest, after blogging, reading, eating, etc. :)
DeleteI wonder what they put on the floor for all the Breakfast Club actors to be able to slide so effectively. Thanks for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteI like podcasts - they are at the attention level I seem to be able to do with audio - but I make a list and never get to it lol
ReplyDeleteKaren @ For What It's Worth
It's been a while since I've heard Dream Warriors. I remember when Dokken came out with that for A Nightmare on Elm Street.
ReplyDeleteI don't listen to many podcasts because I tend to spend my audio time on books, but I'd like to listen to more. I'll have to check these out!
ReplyDeleteNicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction
Hahahaha Greg I am only beginning to love audiobooks! Good to know about the podcasts though! On a side comment, I thought of you today in my top 5 stories set in space and left a little surprise for you at the end of the post! I am curious to know if you've ever heard of the book I am mentioning from my country! Here is the link if you are interested https://wp.me/p8cg8e-2zD
ReplyDeleteI had no idea that the cast of Riverdale were good singers! I really enjoyed Union of the Snake :)
ReplyDeleteI listen to tons of podcasts, but I've never heard of the ones you mentioned. I'll have to check out the two (seemingly) LotR related podcasts!
ReplyDeleteGosh, what a shot of nostalgia this post was!
ReplyDelete~Mogsy @ BiblioSanctum
I remember the Riverdale cast singing something at some point but I definitely did NOT remember Dream Warriors, lol. Same for Union of the Snake (but also I'm very behind on that show).
ReplyDeleteThat is a lot of Riverdale... also wow you really are reminding me that I still need to do some exploring of the wonderful world of podcasts
ReplyDeleteI haven't really listened to podcasts yet either, but everyone tells me I should. Great job on this post this week :)
ReplyDeleteThe Immigrant Song always freaks me out. It's just eerie and creepy to me and I always change the station if it comes on. I remember it was used in the opening of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and I thought I was going to have to go out to the theater lobby. Ha!
ReplyDeleteThat is totally Thor's theme song <3 great choice!!
ReplyDeleteI'm very much into podcasts lately (like the rest of the virtual universe lol) so I'll be checking out the ones on your list. Thanks for sharing your list!
ReplyDeleteImmigrant Song is my phone's ringtone. It always makes me think of the Thor: Ragnarok and the big lightning scene. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever listened to a podcast...
I don't think they could have chose a better song for Thor: Ragnarok! :)
ReplyDeleteI love Riverdale's music! They're so good. I also love the show, of course.
ReplyDeleteKrystianna @ Downright Dystopian
Immigrant Song and Thor truly go hand in hand, its just perfect for him. Great twist on this weeks theme!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun take on the topic! And reminds me I really need to try Riverdale :)
ReplyDeleteI love TBC. Great picks and what a great post!
