This week is Top Ten Books by favorite authors that I have not yet read.
A new Liane Moriarty book is pretty much an auto-buy for me at this juncture.
I really liked Love and Gelato so this one's a no- brainer.
I still need to get to this.
The more Rachel Vincent I read, the more I want.
Based on Eight Hundred Grapes I should try more of Laura Dave's books.
The author of The Blue- I should read more.
I am really liking Lisa Jewell so this new one is a must-read for me.
Lost Girls was one of my favorites of 2017. Why aren't I reading more of her work?
Radio Silence makes me want to read more.
This one's another favorite so more Jessi Kirby for me!
I have only had the chance to read one of the books that you listed. I did enjoy Stray quite a lot but never finished the series. I read it so long ago that I really need to read it again before moving on with the series.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read anything by Rachel Vincent, but I think I'm going to start. :)
ReplyDeleteI've read a few of hers, but it's been hit or miss. And I didn't realize she had so many!
DeleteI've read one book from Jessi Kirby book that I LOVED before, so I'm definitely going to need more from her. The Secret History of Us looks incredibly intriguing.
ReplyDelete- Aimee @ Aimee, Always
I really liked The Secret History but I heard mixed things about the new one, so I may wait to try her again, but I would definitely read more of her- at some point!
DeleteWow I think I have only read two of these authors- Jessi Kirby and Jenna Evans Welch. That is not good. I do REALLY want to read a Liane Moriarty book. They had mass market paperbacks at Sam's Club for like $6 and I was going to buy one but they were sold out of hers, figures. Also, I have heard great things about Alice Osman, she's on my TBR too! Great choices!
ReplyDeleteI really do have to recommend Big Little Lies. If only - I mean it's seriously funny at times. I did like Radio Silence!
DeleteI still have to read BOTH of Jenna's contemporaries - they sound so cute. Also, someday I should take a second look at Jessi's novels. If I remember right, her books sound interesting. Happy Top Ten Tuesday, Greg!
ReplyDeleteI really need to move Love & Luck up since I really enjoyed her first book!
DeleteI need to read Love & Luck at some point! I hope you enjoy these books when you get round to them. My TTT
ReplyDeleteI do too- her first one was awesome.
DeleteI just got the audio for Love & Luck! The wait list wasn't too long at my library, and I am PUMPED to read it! I just have to get through Winter(24 hours) and Strange the Dreamer (18 hours). They're sooo long! *cries*
ReplyDeleteLindsi @ Do You Dog-ear?
Yay! And it's funny how long audios can be- like it would never take that long to READ them, I always think, but maybe it would, especially since I take breaks and might not pick it up for days, whereas audio you can do while you're doing other
DeleteYes! I guess it's because we think faster than we speak? So maybe reading is the same way? We're able to process the words more quickly in our heads, but listening to them as they're spoken takes longer... I honestly have no idea.
DeleteI haven't read any of your favorite authors. Eek. So many books/authors I haven't read. I went off the board this week and listed my favorite banned books since it is banned books week. My TTT Favorite Banned Books
ReplyDeleteI liked your topic. :)
DeleteI'm going to have to look into some of these authors book, some I haven't heard of. I also enjoyed Love & Gelato, I should probably add Love & Luck to my list.
ReplyDeleteI felt the same, after Love & Gelato I definitely wanted to read Love & Luck when I saw it
DeleteI haven't read any of these though I do own a alice oseman ebook to read, solitaire. I also need to read some Rachel Vincent books. Great list.
ReplyDeleteI've only read the one Oseman- Radio Silence- but I liked it a lot!
DeleteRadio Silence sounds good. I haven't read anything from these authors yet, but chances are I will someday.
ReplyDeleteI recommend Radio Silence!
DeleteI so much wanted to love Stray! I liked the supporting characters and the plot but I just couldn't stand the whiny MC!
ReplyDeleteOh no- that's concerning. I need to read more Rachel Vincent but yeah whiny MC's irritate me.
DeleteAlice Osman is someone I have been meaning to read something from. I hear so many raves, I need to see what she's all about.
ReplyDeleteI really liked Radio Silence after hearing some really good things.
DeleteOh nice picks! Lots of new to me ones but once I saw Rachel Vincent's Shifter series I was smiling! I LOVED this series soooo much! It was so good! When I was reading it, I was on her discussion board and people were always theorizing this or that! It was a lot of fun! I miss that board! In some ways, it helped to launch my own blog once the board went dark. I also created my blog based on a contest Rachel was having at the time for an ARC of one of the books in this series!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
Wow that's cool! I love interaction like that with authors and other fans! You definitely have a personal connection to that series! Makes me want to read it- if that generated so much devotion it must be good!
DeleteI am definitely in on the new Liane Moriarty and Lisa Jewel ones. I really enjoy their books a lot.
ReplyDeleteSame I can't wait for both- and the Lisa Jewell one caught me by surprise because didn't she just have a new one out, and now this one is December?
DeleteWatching You is totally on my TBR. Jewell has taken a hard left into mystery-thriller territory and I'm all on-board for it.
ReplyDeleteSee I haven't read her earlier stuff, Girls in the Garden was my first (which I loved), so I guess I only know her from her last few.
DeleteI'm glad to hear Love & Gelato was good. I love the cover for that one and Love & Luck and definitely need to check out both!
ReplyDeleteI liked Love and Gelato, it was solid!
DeleteI still need to read love & gelato, but that makes me feel good that I you liked it so much, so maybe I can catch up on all the books I need to read (HAHAH! Doubtful)
ReplyDeleteRight? THAT never happens! But yeah Love and gelato was good- I mean it wasn't earth shattering, but it was solid and set in Italy and just really cute.
DeleteI think there's maybe one more Liane Moriarty book that I haven't read yet, and of course looking forward to her new one!
ReplyDeleteI have most of her older stuff to go, the earliest one I've read is The Husband's Secret- I think? Big Little Lies is what got me reading her books.
DeleteGreat list there with lots of new to me authors, which I always appreciate. You haven't mentioned anything lately,(maybe you don't even want to-lol) but I sure hope you're feeling good these days. Uh oh, gotta go. Gordon Ramsey is on Good Morning America with a challenge!!! Happy Tuesday and Hugs - RO
ReplyDeleteThank you for asking! I am feeling pretty good- it's a long road, as you know, but I've been very lucky. Ha ha Happy Tuesday!!
DeleteLove & Luck was really cute. I honestly think I liked that one just a little bit more than Love & Gelato.
ReplyDeleteHere is my TTT: https://thebookdutchesses.com/2018/09/25/ttt-46-books-by-my-favorite-authors-that-i-still-havent-read/
Ooh that's good to know- I'm looking forward to it (plus Ireland)!!!!!
DeleteI read Stray and loved it but it was ages ago. Have you read her Stillhouse Lake? I've heard good things about it as well. I HAVE to get busy on the Menagerie trilogy but I think I'm gonna ask for them all for Christmas - I need books for my list and they are definitely ones I'll enjoy.
ReplyDeleteI have not read stillhouse Lake but I keep seeing it, and that atmospheric cover always makes me want to try it! And I read Menagerie and liked it, and Spectacle is on my Kindle, but I haven't started yet- they sound like good Christmas presents! :)
DeleteI haven't read any of these authors but I do want to read Laura Dave one of these days😁
ReplyDeleteI liked Eight Hundred Grapes a LOT.
DeleteI've read One Plus One (loved!!) and Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty but that's it. Me Before You isn't something I think I could tackle, the ending was spoiled to me and I don't think the book is for me. I read Rachel Vincent's first book of her YA series years ago. I need to read more. I read Lisa Jewell's I Found You and it was really good. I must try more from her too. Great TTT, Greg! :)
ReplyDeleteI really liked The Girls in the Garden from Jewell, maybe even more than I Found You, so I definitely recommend that one. And Rachel Vincent I've read a few books now, but she has a lot and I need to get started on her series, like Strays. Big Little Lies I really liked, my favorite of hers so far, but I haven't read much of her backlist- just The Husband's secret so far, which was also good.
DeleteI love Rachel Vincent! I need to read more of her as well. I have only read Stray and the Menagerie books. Love and Luck looks good too!
ReplyDeleteI liked Menagerie and I've read a couple others of her as well, but not Strays and I want to!
DeleteI can't wait for Nine Perfect Strangers! I'm a little nervous because I didn't love her last book as much as the others.
ReplyDeleteI didn't either. I'm hoping this new one will be more on a Big Little Lies or Husband's secret level :)
DeleteI have Love and Gelato on hold at my library then I plan on reading Love and Luck. YES for Nine Perfect Strangers!!! Have you read any of her other books besides Big Little Lies? I am curious if they are as good.
ReplyDeleteThey would be fun to read back to back! I did read The Husband's Secret, which I thought was ALMOST as good as BLL, and Truly Madly guilty which was good but not quite at the same level for me.
DeleteI want to read Nine Perfect Strangers, too! And I want to say I read Stray years ago, but now I can't be certain. Hahaha.
ReplyDeleteHere is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
Right? We forget :)
DeleteI still need to read Radio Silence. I'm pretty sure I'd love it!

Liane Moriarty is on my list today, too. There are several books on her backlist that I haven't gotten to yet. I'm also super excited about NINE PERFECT STRANGERS. Keeping my fingers crossed that it's not another stinker like TRULY MADLY GUILTY :)
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT, Greg!
Right! I'm hoping the same thing...
DeleteI haven't read any of them yet either. The Liane Moriarty will likely get read the soonest.
ReplyDeleteI confess that I only tried Vincent
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of these! I've jumped to several of these posts today and this is the first time there is literally not a single book I've read. I gotta check them out now.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing,
~Brittany @ Brittany's Book Rambles
I still haven't read anything by Alice Oseman... but I do have Radio Silence sitting on my shelf judging me for the fact that I have owned the book for like a year and still haven't read it.
ReplyDeleteThe new Moriarty isn’t out yet though, right? So there’s a good excuse.
ReplyDeleteI read Stray years ago and really liked it. Hope you do too! :)
ReplyDeleteAhh I used to love Vincent. She's the only one on your list I know. Hope you enjoy all of them when you get the chance :)
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteVery interesting choices! Nine Perfect Strangers--I can't wait! Lisa @ https://hopewellslibraryoflife.wordpress.com/2018/09/25/top-ten-tuesday-books-by-my-favorite-authors-that-i-still-havent-read/
Love Rachel Vincent, other than that didn't know any of the other books this week.
ReplyDeleteThe only one of these I've read is Radio Silence which I liked but didn't love.

Nice list of posts in your post this week. All new ones for me to explore.

I don’t think I’ve read any of these authors. There are too many books in the world! I hope you enjoy all these.
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
Totally with you on the new Liane Moriarty and Love & Luck.
ReplyDeleteI'd really love to pickup Love and Gelato and now Love and Luck. Hope you get to some of these soon!
ReplyDeleteI think I wanted to read Radio Silence. I'll have to hop on over to Goodreads and see if I have it on a shelf. I'm surprised you haven't read Love &Luck yet. ☺
ReplyDeleteRadio Silence was SO good - I think you would like it!
ReplyDeleteJen Ryland Reviews
Dang, I have read none of these books or their authors. I'm taking notes here, some of these thrillers or mysteries look very good.
ReplyDelete~Mogsy @ BiblioSanctum
oooh, The Girl I used to be looks good -- and I am totally hooked by the promise of the title!
ReplyDeleteGreat list - a few on here that I need to read too. I've fancied Stray for a long while in fact I did buy a copy but it was a case of sitting on my TBR for so long that it eventually became invisible if you know what I mean. I need to go and shake up my shelves.
ReplyDeleteLynn :D
My my my we do have some romance on your list Greg! ;-)))) Sophie @bewareofthereader
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of these books, but the Liane Moriarty book looks good.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week. - Katie
I hadn't heard of a bunch of these! Lost Girls looks really good. Must add to my TBR. :) Thanks for sharing your list!
ReplyDeleteI need to just read more Liane Moriarty and Lisa Jewell period! I have Eight Hundred Grapes to read but haven't managed to get to it yet. Pretty much I just need all the books and all the time to read them!
ReplyDeleteI actually don't know any of these authors, but your post makes me want to! Love & Luck and Radio silence are both on my TBR though and I can't wait to read them!! Great list 😃
ReplyDeleteI've read just the one Liane Moriarty book... My sister tells me I need to read them all! Great list.
ReplyDeleteyay more books by our beloved Liane Moriarty Greg! I want to read them ALL!!! LOL I cannot believe you haven't read Radio Silence! I could swear that book is on my TBR because you convinced me to read it LOL SMH I'm getting more lunatic by the minute
ReplyDeleteI'm sooooooo far behind on favorite authors.
ReplyDeleteI say this every year but I'm really going to prioritize re-reads and backlogs in 2019
Karen @ For What It's Worth
I second Liane Moriarty's work! It's shockingly compelling, no matter the subject. The rest of these authors are new to me, but I love the covers! Love & Luck and Hello Sunshine both speak to me! Great list, Greg.
ReplyDeleteI just watched Big Little Lies over the summer and now I really want to read any and all books by Liane Moriarty! I'm thinking I might read Nine Perfect Strangers first so I can't wait until it's published! :)
ReplyDeleteRachel Vincent's Shifter series is AWESOME! I didn't really care for the main character, but she grows quite a bit by the end of the series.
ReplyDeleteLost Girls is another great book. I've had the pleasure of meeting the author a couple of times at book signings and she's the sweetest. I saw that she has a new book coming out called Valiant. From what I gathered in the synopsis, it's a young adult alien invasion story.
There are so many books I could put on this type of list! Several of these are on my wish list or TBR. I am looking forward to the Lisa Jewell book. I hope you have a great weekend, Greg!
ReplyDeleteGreat list! Stray is such a good book! I haven't finished that series yet but what I have read I've adored.
ReplyDeleteFrom the little I remember The Shifters series by Rachel Vincent is great! I hope you get to it soon! I'd love to hear your thoughts on it :)
ReplyDeleteYou read such a range of genres! I really want to read Radio Silence because all the blog reviews for that book have been amazing. And I also really want to read Big Little Lies because Liane Moriarty has such a good rep for brilliant writing across her books.
