I do like The Blue :)
DeleteA School For Unusual Girls has been on my TBR for the longest time, I really should get round to it. Bonus that it's part set in Scotland!

It's a great series and three of the books are out!
DeleteI didn't enjoy Love & Gelato that much but I did love how well Italy was represented! :D
ReplyDeleteI did too, the setting was well done.
DeleteTintin certainly did his fair share of traveling-Snowy must have spent a lot of time in quarantine!
ReplyDeleteDidn't he though? Quite the world traveler...
DeleteI forget that Big Little Lies is set in Australia lol Great picks, Greg!
ReplyDeleteI know, the show made me forget too by relocating it, but I like all the little Sydney details that are just a LITTLE bit different than the US!
DeleteOoh nice! Those are all new to me ones!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
Hey Jessica!
DeleteSo impressed you have one for Tibet... I'm thinking you might be the only one that does. :) Gold star, Greg!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tanya! :)
DeleteI love books outside the US but always tend towards UK or France. Love to see some of your other places!
ReplyDeleteI read SO many in UK or Franc it is nice to branch out once in a while!
DeleteI forgot Big LIttle Lies takes place in Australia. I should re-read that one. Soooo good.
ReplyDeleteI know, I loved the Sydney location!!!
DeleteI really need to get to Big Little Lies and Love& Gelato...they've been on my tbr. Great list :) I am a Tintin fan and I always smile when you include him on your lists.
ReplyDeleteBoth great books. Big Little Lies is a favorite of mine and Tintin... love those!
DeleteI guess I never realized Big Little Lies takes place in Australia. That makes it that much more interesting for me to pick up. I learned that I read A LOT about England - haha.
ReplyDeleteI loved the Sydney setting! And yes England- same here!!
DeleteSince it seems like I may not get through my bucket list to do more traveling unless I win a contest, reading about other countries from books sounds like a fab thing to do, and you've given some great choices. Hugs...RO
ReplyDeleteI know, I don't think I'm gonna make it all the places I want to go either! Better get reading I guess :)
DeleteIt's amazing how varied locations can be. I was surprised when I did my list that I had so many books to choose from. Although I just realized I left the UK off my list! Love this list, Greg😁
ReplyDeleteI love that YA (and books ion general) are taking us all over the world right now, from the comfort of our chairs lolol. And thanks!!!
DeleteI think I read a lot of books set in England, so it's great for me to see everyone's lists this weeks! Canada is particularly an interesting one, I don't see many stories set in Canada.
ReplyDeleteI want to read more set in Canada too. I do read a lot set in England and never seem to tire of that country!
DeleteI need to read at least one book by Kelly Armstrong since her thrillers take place in my country. I keep telling myself I need to read more Canadian authors!
ReplyDeleteI want to read more Canadian. And City of the Lost is fab!
DeleteI'm still curious to read Big Little Lies at some point. I have read The Breakdown though!

Oh I'd love to know what you think of BLL!
DeleteWhat a diverse list! I don't think I've ever read a book set in Africa-- it's something that I definitely want to do more since I know so little about the entire continent.
ReplyDeleteThanks Anna! I haven't read much set in Africa either but would like to.
DeleteI haven’t read any of these. The last two are on my tbr. So it little big lies. Great list
ReplyDeleteOh Big Little Lies- I rave about that book every chance I get!!!
DeleteYes, City of the Lost (need the next book now!) and Big Little Lies! I haven't read any of the other books. :)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh I LOVE City of the Lost. I had it in ebook and had to order it through Book Depository because I wanted it in physical (and with a certain cover)!!
DeleteYou're not the first person I've seen talk about Love & Gelato this week. It must be a very good story!
ReplyDeleteHere is our Top Ten Tuesday.
It is pretty good, but the Italian setting has a lot to do with it!!!
DeleteLove & Gelato is on my TBR for the summer. It looks super cute! :D Awesome picks! Have a great rest of your week.
ReplyDeleteMy Top Ten Tuesday!
Thanks Heather! It's a perfect summer read.
DeleteI've read the Breakdown and loved the setting with their house in the middle of nowhere basically. It was awesome. Good choices!
ReplyDeleteI did too!!
DeleteOoo! You’ve got a wide variety!
ReplyDeleteI only know the Armstrong and Baldwin books on your list. I love stories that take place overseas, especially in Ireland.
ReplyDeleteIreland is a favorite of mine. Can I live there???? :)
DeleteI didn't realize Big Little Lies took place in Australia either! Ha, learn something new every day :)
ReplyDeleteI need to read, strike that, watch Big little lies
ReplyDeleteThey're both good, but yeah read it (if you have not) it's SO hilarious...
Deleteoh yes great choice mainly with Tintin!
ReplyDeleteThanks!!
DeleteGreat list. I've seen the Gelato book on a few TTT posts today - was it good?
ReplyDeleteI liked it, it wasn't fabulous but it was a solid YA book, some feel good stuff and a wonderful setting!
DeleteHope to read Love and Gelato soon because I love Italy :)
ReplyDeleteI love Italy too, and it was a good book.
DeleteThat cover of Love and Gelato is just amazing! :-) Fab list!
ReplyDeleteBig Little Lies made my list too - I really liked the book setting for Australia. I'm watching the tv show right now and I'm not sure what to think about the setting change, but the scenery sure is beautiful. :)
ReplyDeleteBig Little Lies made it onto my list as well. :-) The only other book I've read from this list is The Breakdown, which I enjoyed much more than her first novel.
ReplyDeleteI added City of the Lost, The Blue, and What She Saw to my "To Read" list. I don't think I'd heard of any of these before, so I'm glad you shared them here! :-) (I'm especially thankful for The Blue because I can use it for one of the PopSugar Reading Challenge categories!)
Heh heh, Tintin could probably fill this list right up, I envy how much he and Snowy get to travel :D
ReplyDelete~Mogsy @ BiblioSanctum
Oh wow, this reminds me that Love & Gelato is still sitting on my kindle waiting to be read. That cover for Kalahari is beautiful too...
ReplyDeleteOooh The Blue has quite a fascinating locale! I had no idea that Vitro was set elsewhere either, I want to read that one (and Kalahari, of course). Great choices!!
ReplyDeleteI would have had such a hard time with this topic. I did enjoy the Armstrong series though.
ReplyDeleteI want to read Love and Gelato, and The Blue looks good also!!
ReplyDeleteThe Blue really caught my eye because of its location! I also want to read Love and Gelato!
ReplyDeleteOh, I should definitely read Love & Gelato...I even know roughly where my copy is. Have a wonderful week. - Katie
ReplyDeleteThis is probably one of the more impressive reading lists I have seen. Tibet. Look at that! And the Blue has all sorts of interesting locals as well.
ReplyDeleteThe School for Unusual Girls is a wicked cool title!
ReplyDeleteWow I haven't read any of these yet but wow sure is a vast collection of interesting locals!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of these, but the Jessica Khoury books are on my TBR! Great list!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of these yet, but Love & Gelato is on my TBR for so long now. Every time I see this cover it makes me happy :D
ReplyDeleteMy TTT: http://flippingthruthepages.com/2018/03/ten-books-that-take-place-in-another-country/
Interesting! I haven't heard of most of these! I love these TTT posts because they give me so many new books to check out. (My bank account, though, may speak differently on the matter.)
ReplyDeleteYES! Love and Gelato!! Not only is the cover cute, the story sounds darling. Like you mentioned, I'm also excited about the follow up Jenna wrote too. L&G is a book that's still on my must-read TBR... but here's hoping I actually read it during these upcoming warmer months. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for visiting Finding Wonderland, Greg.
City of the Lost looks good... I will have to look it up! And Love and Gelato! Totally forgot that one! ;) Great list here!
ReplyDeleteTintin in Tibet, I loved that story. :)
