This week is Top Ten Bookish Settings I'd Like To Visit. *rubs hands together* This one is kinda fun. Because all the places.

A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire, #1)

Winterfell.

The Lord of the Rings (The Lord of the Rings, #1-3)

Rivendell. There are a lot of places to visit in Middle-earth but this would top my list. Here's one of my favorite images of Rivendell.

The 100 (The 100, #1)

Mt. Weather! I mean it's The 100 right? HAS to be on my list. Every place is kinda screwed up though, because you know- apocalypse. But Mt. Weather is nice.

Riverdale

The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet (Wayfarers, #1)

Seriously- anywhere in this universe? Just hanging on the Wayfarer?

  1. Aww, the Hundred Acre Woods! Plenty of childhood memories that brings back.

Also, I'm reading Warcross now and WOW. It's crazy good! Not sure I'd manage to survive, but it IS an amazing story. :)

  5. Wonderful list!! I also picked a place from Lord of the Rings :) I'll have my post up later today! I had an honest review that had to take priority this morning.

  6. Man I am so with you on The Hundred Acre Woods. That was my FAVE story growing up and I'm still a huge Pooh fan at heart. Also sign me up for Peanuts world. Riverdale would be interesting but after binge watching the first 6 episodes of Season 2 the past few days - not too safe. Wonder who Black Hood is?

    1. I love the Hundred acre Woods. And Riverdale is getting very dark isn't it? Do you have a theory who the Hood is?

  9. Fabulous post, really. I love the small, dark towns like Riverdale, and all of my town necessities have been satisfied recently with all of the shows that are coming out! Stranger Things is yet another example. Winnie the Pooh was such a big part of my childhood and I'm getting so emotional thinking about it.
    I loved your list!

  11. Honestly you couldn't get me near Westeros if you even paid me, haha. I'd love to go to Wayfarer and go through the universe on it.

  12. Peanuts Land would be interesting for sure!

  13. So, I don't know if I'd pick any of your choices. :-) Although I would like to meet Snoopy. Fun list!

  15. Yes! We both had Warcross. I'm with you. I would love to play the game, though Animal Crossing is more my speed. The Hundred Acre Wood was on my preliminary list. I always found it a fantastical place.

  18. YES to hanging out on the Wayfarer! Or really anywhere in that world. I also want to be hanging out with that crew!

  19. I am so glad that I am not the only one who wants to live in a world of Praimfaya ;) Of course I adore the idea of exploring Mt Weather. And the bunker! Also definitely agree with The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet! I was so very intrigued by their whole world. I am on the fence about Riverdale though. Because 1) Who even knows where it is? 2) People tend to get murdered there. 3) Every adult is a moron and frankly, I don't know if my brain could handle having to live near them hah. Fabulous list!!

    1. You know I could get used to Mt Weather. You know minus the blood experiments. But if you're gonna be there anyways... and Long Way especially, I just want to be part of that crew.

  24. Hundred Acre Wood is such a fab one :-) Riverdale intrigues me, but I think I'd be too scared.

  25. I'm not much of an outdoors person, but I would go to the Hundred Acre Wood in a heartbeat :)

  26. Sigh, I wish so many of these places were real. As a kid I always daydreamed about living in the Star Wars universe. Coruscant would be a blast to visit :)

  27. Definitely agree with LoTR. Rivendell and the Shire would be awesome. I wouldn't mind visiting GoT universe but not for very long. Too dangerous!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Rivendell almost made my list as well (that picture is gorgeous), but in the end I chose the Shire. Winterfell sounds nice too, though I probably couldn't handle the cold that well :)

  29. So many literary worlds are awesome to read about but too traumatic to live in lol I could definitely handle Hundred Acre Woods though.

  30. I kinda want to go to Winterfell but it depends on when in the timeline... and yes Riverdale, I'd totally go there!

  31. Great list, especially Winterfell, Mt Weather, and Coruscant!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Winterfell for sure! I think I'd be too scared to venture much further than that into Westeros, LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Great list! I couldn't decide on one place in Middle Earth so picked it as a whole. It'd be an amazing place to go backpacking round, minus the orcs of course.
