This week is Top Ten Books On Our Fall TBR. This prompt came at a good time as I'm sorta disorganized on what I'm reading in the last part of the year, so this gave me a chance to sort of take stock.
I liked Replica a lot.
I have hopes for this.
Probably already read this by now.
Yes please.
What are they doing in the boat?
Speaking of boats... don't fall out! Killer mermaids!
This isn't due til 2018, so I'm cheating.
More cheat.
I'll try it.
Megan Miranda seems to publish a lot of books. Like the sound of this.
Great list! I definitely want to read Into the Drowning Deep this autumn too - I loved Rolling in the Deep, I can't wait to read about more of Grant's killer mermaids - and There's Someone Inside Your House sounds really fun. Have you read Final Girls by Riley Sager? You might enjoy it if you're interested in reading There's Someone Inside Your House. =)
ReplyDeleteThanks! I can't WAIT for the killer mermaids part 2 :) I have not read Final Girls, but from all the reviews I've seen I think I'd like it. Thanks for the rec!
DeleteThis is a pretty cool list, and some of those titles are downright frightening and intriguing at the same time. The thought of Someone Being Inside Your House is a real attention grabber. Hugs...RO
ReplyDeleteI know, I thought so too! Especially since stephanie Perkins wrote that one- definitely a genre change for her!
DeleteI can't say that any of these are on my radar though I have heard of a couple of them. I'm hoping to get some horror read next month if I can get back into my reading.
ReplyDeleteI hope the reading works out for you. :)
DeleteNot familiar with any of these except war cross. A book about killer mermaids does sound intriguing. I also like the cover for Fragments of the Lost.
ReplyDeleteI kinda like that cover too! At first I wasn't sure, but now it's growing on me.
DeleteOooh nice picks! Some new to me ones though I did enjoy Warcross and Ringer! Can't wait to read There's Someone Inside Your House soon!!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
I am looking forward to Ringer. And Warcross I have right now- which reminds me I need to read some tonight! I think Someone will be really good too!
DeleteFragments of the Lost is one I've been eyeing for a while now and waiting to see some reviews on before I commit. I'll be looking forward to seeing what you think of it. Great list!
ReplyDeleteIt's a new one to me but I thought it sounded intriguing. The other MEgan Miranda I read was just okay, but it was an earlier one- I'm ready to try another!
DeleteI am going to wait to see what the reviews are for Ringer since I didn't love the first book. Super excited for Fragments of the Lost!
ReplyDeleteYeah I'm hoping Ringer doesn't disappoint. I know not everyone loved the first one. Fragments of the Lost looks great!
DeleteI really need to read Megan Miranda. I'm currently reading There's Someone Inside Your House and really enjoying it!
ReplyDelete-Lauren
Oh good, I'm glad that one's good. I was wondering how it would turn out. :)
DeleteI also liked Replica. I will have to add Ringer to my TBR too. When does it come out?
ReplyDeleteRinger comes out pretty soon? *checks* October 3rd looks like according to Goodreads.
DeleteThere's Someone Inside Your House is one I've seen on a lot of lists today. I'm not too much into horror, but it's definitely a good pick for fall/Halloween!
ReplyDeleteI agree! I can't wait to read it.
DeleteFragments of the Lost sounds really good to me. I saw There's Someone Inside Your House awhile back and added it to my YA TBR. I hope you enjoy these as well. Great list!
ReplyDeleteThanks Bill. I'm looking forward to both of those...
DeleteI love that these are mostly thrillers and mystery. Fall is definitely my favorite time of year for these genres!
ReplyDeleteYou know I hadn't even thought of that, but you're right! I am totally tilting towards thrillers this year! And now is a great time of year for some more lol.
DeleteThose look like some great reads for the fall! I've been into thrillers lately, I'll have to check out Everything But The Truth.
ReplyDeleteI have too, I've read more thrillers this year than I think I have any year before.
DeleteI featured One of Us Will Be Dead by Morning months ago on a Can't Wait Wednesday. I'm really hoping to get to it and I also want to know more about those killer mermaids!
ReplyDeleteThose killer mermaids look fab! And One of Us looks intriguing, I'm not familiar with that author or series but I'm gonna check it out.
DeleteI still need to read Replica. There's Someone in Your House is on my list this week as well! Great picks!
ReplyDeleteCheck out my Top 10
I'm hoping to get to Someone after I finish Warcross. And Replica was pretty good- not everyone loved but I liked it.
DeleteIm excited for warcross as well. Awesome picks! There are so many fall releases I am excited about and so many series I want to continue/start!
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading!
Michelle @ Book Briefs
My Fall TBR picks
I just started Warcross a few day ago, I need to get some time in reading. And I agree- there are so many releases this fall I want! Thanks, have a great rest of the week!
DeleteYou reminded me how little time we have left this year. And there are still so many books I want to read! Although Warcross didn't make my list, it is one I hope to get to before the year is out. Someone Inside Your House and Everything But the Truth look like good ones. All of these titles do, actually! I hope you enjoy them, Greg! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI know- it's flying! And thanks- I'm reading Warcross now, and Everything but the Truth has me really curious.
DeleteI haven't read any of these books yet, but I'm surprised by how many people are talking about There's Someone Inside Your House this week. Now I want to read it, too. :)
ReplyDeleteHere is our Top Ten Tuesday.
I know, it's everywhere! And I have to admit I'm kinda stoked for it too. :)
DeleteQuite the list. I need to check these out! They all look good.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jenny!
DeleteI liked Replica well enough so I am looking forward to what others will think of Ringer.
ReplyDeleteMe too.
DeleteOhh the Stearns one looks good
ReplyDeleteYeah that one might be flying under the radar a bit- but I hope it's good??!?
DeleteThis is one of my favorite prompts too. I don't always get to all the books on the list (okay I never get to all the books on my list) but I do like sitting down and focusing on it a bit. There's Someone in the House looks amazing as does the Megan Miranda and Everything But the Truth.
ReplyDeleteI like it too! I think all three of those look promising- I guess this is the year of the thriller for me.
DeleteRinger and Warcross are on my TTT too. I love Lu and I want to know where Oliver is going with the Replica story. I had the Perkins book on my list, but I am a little put off by the reviews I am reading. Maybe you will love it, and change my mind.
ReplyDeleteThis is my first Lu and I'm looking forward to seeing where she takes it. Ringer I'm looking forward to as well...
DeleteBar code eyes--- that's really creeping me out! I might have nightmares!
ReplyDeleteI know! That's quite the cover, isn't it??
DeleteI really, really want to read Warcross! I normally don't read scary stuff, LOL, but I love Stephanie Perkins, so I want to give There's Someone Inside Your House a shot. Plus, it sounds like a perfect Halloween read!
ReplyDeleteWarcross is okay so far but not wowing me. But I have a ways to go. :) And I agree- I'm hoping There's Someone is kinda scary, just in time for Halloween. :)
DeleteHow about you read Ringer and tell me how urgently I need to read Ringer? It's just so big. I hope Warcross was great! I agree, Fragments of the Lost looks really good, too. Hopefully There's Someone Inside Your House will be good too- I feel like I have heard mixed things? Nothing wrong with cheating- who knows, maybe you'll find early copies :D
ReplyDeleteOkay! Ha ha I just imagined Romy and Michelle when I wrote that. "Okay" all perky like lol. Warcross is... okay, but it's early. I'm struggling a little, which is odd. And yeah there's Someone does seem to be getting mixed- I'm just hoping it's kinda funny along with scary??
DeleteIt looks like you have a great fall lined up. "There's Someone Inside Your House" This has been the year of straight forward titles. I love it. :) I think "One of Us Will Be Dead By Morning" is another one.
ReplyDeleteI know, both of those titles kill me.
DeleteA nice mix of reading. I have to admit I am intrigued to see what Stephanie Perkins is going to do with a scary/thriller type story!
ReplyDeleteI'm very curious to see how that one turns out!!!
DeleteI saw that cover with the barcode eyes and just had to look it up - you didn't leave any author information so it wasn't easy! ;-) But as soon as I found the book on goodreads, I went gah, I did not know that Jay Kristoff will have a new sci-fi book out in 2018?! Thanks for the heads up, this one is totally added to my reading list!
ReplyDelete~Mogsy @ BiblioSanctum
I know, sorry! I realized later there was no way to see the author, and even the title is tricksy. I know, it was totally new to me too!
DeleteGreat list! I normally don't read horror but the mermaids of Into the Drowning Deep caught my eye. I'll take a chance (hopefully I won't have nightmares lol) and added it to my TBR.
ReplyDeleteI'm really hopeful for that one!
DeleteI'm intrigued by Barbary Station, I'll have to check it out on GoodReads. Happy reading! :)
ReplyDeleteMy TTT
I'm intrigued by that one too. :)
DeleteI really need to read Replica...so I can see if I want to read Ringer! :-) I hope you enjoy these books when you get to them!
ReplyDeleteFragments of the Lost looks good, and so does Warcross, which reminds me of Ready Player One a bit. :)
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that Seanan McGuire/Mira Grant was releasing a new book, I'll have to check it out!
ReplyDeleteThe Mira Grant one sounds cool! I just found out today that she is Seanan McGuire :D Time to read one of her novels soon, I hear so much about them and mostly positive things.
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to read something by Mira Grant and I think this is a new series?
ReplyDeleteAnd did you see the new cover for the next Murderbot Diaries - Artificial Condition? That doesn't come out until next year but I'm excited about that one.
For What It's Worth
You read such a great variety of genres. I love seeing that! I really need to read Replica and Ringer---that one should have been on my list.
ReplyDeleteNicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction
Looks like I'll be adding a bunch of books to my TBR once I get the chance to see your reviews!! :) Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThese all look great! There's Someone Inside Your House looks like a real spine tingler!
ReplyDeleteDid you read Rooms? I loved that novel I'll have to check out this Lauren Oliver.

Many of these seem quite creepy....I will be adding some to my own to-read list! I have wanted to read the Perkins book for a long time now. I can't wait for it to be released!
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for Warcross and There's Someone Inside Your House, but unfortunately it'll be a while before I get to read either of them. And I've put Life Like straight onto my TBR because that cover is so creepy cool.
ReplyDeleteWarcross and There's Someone Inside Your House are on a lot of lists this week. Into the Drowning Deep look good to me. But I'm in the middle of a two month long read along for Shattered Worlds right now.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT: http://books.thetechchef.net/top-ten-tuesday-33/
Wow, you have a lot of cool looking books to explore! I may even add a few of them to my ever growing 'tbr' pile. Happy reading!

Good grief look at all the comments you have on this! There are some awesome books on here! I'm really interested to see what you think about There's Someone Inside Your House. It sounds awesome and right up my alley but I've seen some people didn't get into it so I've been on the fence. I want to read Ringer too but it's such a big book and I don't have time for that right now haha. Fragments of the Lost sounds really interesting!
ReplyDeleteI think I'm going to read Someone next! I'm hoping for a good, scary read (maybe campy too?) so I'll let you know how it turns out! Ringer I'm kind of looking forward to, but yeah it's a chunkster.
DeleteI'm so excited about Warcross and There's Someone Inside Your House as well! And I really should read Replica soon :)
ReplyDeleteI think I've mentioned once or twice how much I love Oliver :D ;-) so Replica and Ringer are a MUST for me. I think I'll check out the killer mermaids one too! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm curious about Warcross and of course, Stephanie's. I read that it's not creepy by comparison to Scream (which I've not seen), so I'm hopeful, it'll be more mystery than horror/creepfest since I'm not a fan of either - but I do like Stephanie's writing!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for visiting Finding Wonderland, Greg. :)
I am not going to be reading any of these, so I will be looking forward to what you think of them. :)
ReplyDeleteI really want to read There's Someone Inside your House, I've heard it's veeeeery creepy !
ReplyDeleteWarcross is getting a lot of buzz. I'm starting to wish I had requested it. Some of these others are interesting too. I wish I were more comfortable with scary/horror-type books, because Mira Grant's killer mermaids sound intriguing... but I think I'll stick to her Seanan McGuire books for now. (Not that I've read one yet, but there are several on my TBR list... though not my top 10.)
