Top Ten Fantasy/ SF Books I've Added

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week a new Top Ten list will be posted. Everyone is welcome to join. Link back to The Broke and the Bookish so everyone can check out other bloggers' lists. It's a fun way to get to know fellow bloggers.

This week is Top Ten Books From X Genre That You've Added To Your TBR. I decided  to go with fantasy/ SF since those are my genres of choice, even though lately I've been reading a ton of thrillers and even some contemporaries. So here are some I'm looking forward to.

The Pack (The Wanderers, #2)

Into the Drowning Deep

All Systems Red (The Murderbot Diaries, #1)

A murderous AI- and told from its perspective.

River of Teeth

Killer hippos? Yup!

The Caledonian Gambit

Horizon

Infinity (Horizon, #2)

Star's End

Barbary Station (Shieldrunner Pirates, #1)

    1. I've been doing that a bit- reading thrillers and contemps (which I never read). It's been nice...

  19. I'm not as into SF as I am into fantasy, but I know you love it, so hope you get to read at least a few of these this year. From your list, I might want to read Cassandra Rose Clarke's book, since I know of her from her assassin pirate series in last few years. Didn't read it, but checked them out online as possibility.

Enjoy the week and your book searches!

    1. Thanks Rita. And to be honest I've hardly read any SF this year, so maybe I can ease back in. I've never read Rose Clarke's stuff but I remember seeing reviews of those books, and they did look intriguing.

  39. I hope you get River of Teeth soon! To be honest I'm kinda for it too...

  40. YAY the killer hippos made the list! I looked it up and it had mixed reviews, so you have to let us know if it is worth it. Because tbh, I kind of want to read it? Is The Pack the sequel to The Wanderers? I still need to read that. Into the Drowning Deep looks good too, of course. Off to look up the others, too, for the covers have intrigued me! Great list :D

    ReplyDelete
  41. I like the covers and I confess that they're all new to me

    ReplyDelete
  42. As you know, I gravitate more toward fantasy than SF, but some of these look interesting, especially Star's End. And I hope you read and review the hippo book, because I've been seeing it all over the place and the premise is absurdly cool.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Oh The Pack looks really good! Fantastic cover, too :)

    ReplyDelete
  44. These are all quite tempting! Into the Drowning Deep looks like one that I might have to add to my list.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Really great line-up you have here. The cover for The Caledonian Gambit looks so striking - not much of a sci-fi person (although that may be just because I haven't read many), but I'll look into that one. :)

  47. Not the biggest SF fan, but I`m trying to get more into the genre. Can we talk about the cover for "Into the Drowning Deep" though? Gorgeous. They say you shouldn`t judge a book by its cover, but I`d probably read it just for that.

  48. I plan to read River of Teeth at some point in the future. It's anyone's guess when that will be though! I like The Pack cover too. Nice list!

  49. YES the killer hippos XD

I need to get back into the loop of new release books and just reading in general! Most of these are new to me titles so it looks like I'll need to look some of them up :D

  50. I've got a couple Mira Grant books sitting at home and I need to read them, they just sound so good. There are a lot of good SF books coming out in the near future it seems. Great list!

  51. I haven't heard of any of these books before, but they all have equally stunning covers and look like they have a lot of promise. I am curious to know what you'll think of them!
