Okay this is my kinda topic. I have so many fandoms now since I started blogging, and once I got Netflix that made it even worse. Most of these are not book fandoms actually although I have few (humor related) towards the end.
The 100 is probably my favorite and this is a show where no one is safe.

Continuum is probably my favorite show that is no longer in production. Garza anyone?
This show is amazing- and it's worth watching just for Jennifer.
Riverdale- my new favorite show. Quirky and over the top it's a lot of fun.
Garza was kick-ass. We have 12 monkeys here but have yet to watch it. So much still to finish, haha.

The 100 is great.
DeleteOrphan Black was a show I loved. I think it was the best first season out there. I fell off but I want to catch up at some point.
ReplyDeleteOrphan Black lost me for a while in season 3 I think it was, but I stuck with it and it got better. They did slip though for about a season...

DeleteRiverdale is kind of fun. I am intrigued by Black Sails. I will have to get Season One on DVD sometime and give it a try.
ReplyDeleteI know a lot of my coworkers love The Walking Dead. Zombies aren't my cup of tea but it sounds like a fascinating show. They are always talking about it at work and one even threw a Walking Dead premiere party which sounded like fun :)
I am liking Riverdale. And Black Sails is good although it's definitely an adult show.
DeleteI'm surprised I even tried TWD, but I love the characters (some, anyway). Now I stick w/it even though I'm not happy the direction they've taken...
Oh, Orphan Black. I LOVE that series. I'm sad this is going to be the last season but I think I'd rather see it go out on top rather than drag out, which I think it has the potential to do. I adore Allison and Felix! I am a total Walking Dead fan and will probably always watch it even when it frustrates me.

DeleteNow that you mention it, I think the internet does play a big role in how crazy I've gotten over certain shows or series. Suddenly I'm not just one fan, but one of many. :-)

Yessss The 100!! I really love that show so much even though it puts me in my feels a lot. I need to check out Riverdale I've heard a ton about it and it seems interesting so I should check that out soon!

DeleteGreat list! I stopped watching The 100 a couple of season ago. I can't remember why, though. I want to try Riverdale. That looks good. I love The Walking Dead. Just when I think I'll stop watching, they drag me back in.

DeleteI can't believe it - I am in NONE of these fandoms. I have not heard of Riverdale, but now I am intrigued! I will be checking that one out for sure. I have loads of fandoms myself, but I focused on Sherlock this week. :) We Sherlockians are a weird bunch for sure.

DeleteI've only watched a few episodes of the 100 but I stopped because I could't wait for the episodes and now I don't have time to get back to it. But I want to binge Orphan Black and Black Sails so bad!

Zach McGowan? ;) I love how he kiiiind of looks exactly the same on Black Sails as he does on The 100, just with fewer clothes and no dorky crown ;) You have given me a LOT of shows to put on my "what exactly will I do when The 100 Season 4 is over?" watchlist, too! Definitely Riverdale, and holy crap, I just looked up 12 Monkeys and YES, I am adding that to my list. And Richard Harmon was in Continuum!? Sign me up for that one, too. Where can I find it? Since it doesn't air anymore, I mean? I shall look. Orphan Black is on my watchlist though, and I definitely want to watch The Walking Dead at some point. These are such great choices!! Thanks for expanding my options :D
ReplyDeleteZach McGowan and the chick who plays Anne Bonny lol- I think I like certain characters rather than the show per se! And he does look the same- although I thought the Vane role suited him better. Or maybe that's just because I saw him first.

Orphan Black I think you would like. And TWD moves so slowly now but the first few seasons- killer.

ReplyDeleteI desperately need to catch up on the Orphan Black. I loved the first season but for whatever reason never went back. I'm not a huge fan of The Walking Dead but my husband is so I always know what's going on. Looks like an interesting group!
ReplyDeleteJennifer from 12 Monkeys is awesome! The actress who plays her is also in a Canadian comedy show called Schitt's Creek that's absolutely hilarious (in a cringe kinda way) and it's fascinating to see her in that role when contrasted with Jennifer. No matter how hard I try, I can't quit The 100. I still regularly read fanfic even though I'm not caught up on the show, but it's all good because it's mostly AUs where everyone is happy and not dying LOL.

ReplyDeleteOh man, I haven't seen any of these, except for The Walking Dead. I haven't actually watched the walking dead for quite a few seasons though. Last thing I remember watching was the governer's death and Herschel's too. So it's been quite a while. I know most of the things that happen tho because of Facebook spoilers. lol! I'm definitely going to have to check out some of these other shows!

I still need to get into The 100 which is embarrassing LOL! As much as I adored Archie Comics, I'm still on the fence about Riverdale, EVEN with you and my best friend raving about it haha! ReplyDeleteAhhh, I always forget about Continuum. I started that on DVD a while back and was really enjoying the first season before another show distracted me. Guess I should revisit this world, because I have to know how it all ends. :)
