I must admit I'm not really a fan of any of the book covers this week. I tried reading Across the Universe a few years back but didn't really like it and DNF'd it!
I love the cover for Six Wakes. Like, it really makes me interested and it really says "sci-fi" without being like super in your face about it. I also like both the Across the Universe and A Million Suns covers. But I like the ones that show the nuts and bolts or whatever better.
Just noticed how so many of these generation ship stories have very "lonely" feeling covers. Another one I thought of was Kim Stanley Robinson's Aurora!
I love the covers for Across the Universe- except for the one that looks like an ice shard, I don't get that one. I like Six Wakes a lot too! I kind of like Hull Zero Three and Glow too, they're simple but nice. This is a good rogue topic, I love space covers!
The covers for the Across the Universe trilogy changed so many times, but honestly I think they were all really good! Probably the only time I've ever liked the original and the redesigns equally, haha.
I really like the cover of Across the Universe! This was an interesting topic. I am about 100% positive I wouldn't be able to find any generation ships. I am not even sure I know what that is. lol :)

ReplyDeleteIt's funny because I love the Across the Universe series but I've never been keen on the covers. I like the cover for Glow best
ReplyDeleteI do like Beth Revis' covers! Thanks for sharing - fun rogue topic. :)

I love the covers for A Million Suns and Across the Universe (especially the 2nd one). This isn't my genre but the covers are so eye catching!

ReplyDeleteGreat theme. I like the covers for Across the Universe and A Million Suns best.
ReplyDeletewow A Million Suns is stunning! It makes me want to read the book so badly. Where are they? what is that spherical window? where are they going?

ReplyDeleteWhich reminds me, I have to read the last Glow book. :)
ReplyDeleteI like the first Across the Universe cover and kind of like the second A Million Suns cover that matches it.

ReplyDeleteI don't really know anything about this genre. I pick up on a hint of sci-fi, but what exactly is it?
ReplyDeleteNever seen Six Wakes before. I like the cover!
ReplyDeleteSorry that I missed a week! I made a 2/1 post this week.
Thanks for joining in :)
