Pick Your Genre Challenge


This challenge is hosted by Herding Cats Burning Soup and is all about picking a genre or subgenre you love or want to check out. The rules are: 

  • The book needs to fit your genre (obvs)
  • 80 pages (or more)
  • Any format is good
  • Re- reads are cool
  • Minimum of 12
So I'm going to go with Urban Fantasy. I've been talking about reading more UF all year and have only read a few- UF is hit or miss for me, I mean some I love and some not so much- so this challenge will push me to try more. And I'll go for 12 since I read a lot of different stuff, and don't want to go too crazy. :)

    Good luck with your challenges! This one sounds like a fun one. I hope you get a chance to try The Dresden Files for UF. ;)

    It is definitely hit or miss for me, so I don't pursue those titles too much. I do like the Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs but that has a certain amount of romance in it, may or may not appeal to you. I just discovered The Others series by Anne Bishop. I really liked it!

    I think Urban Fantasy is a good pick. I will be looking to see what you pick to read. I don't think I have read any. Hmm...
