This week's topic is All About Villains - it can be top 10 favorite/ most compelling villains in books, favorites from TV, or whatever. I'm going with a rogues gallery from both books and TV, and movies too. I didn't put a ton of thought into this, I kinda just went with whoever came to mind. I mean this could be quite the list, so I went with who I thought of first. So... on to the villains!

Okay back to the likeable villains. Forget Jennifer Lawrence this is my Mystique. All badass all the time.
Haha I love your list! These are some amazing villains - some you love to hate and some that are so badass you can't help but root for them a little too ;) I can't help but love Harley Quinn, Mystique and Deathstroke :)

DeleteGreat list! I don't recognize a lot of these, but I totally agree with the ones I do know. :) President Snow - ick. Forgot about him. Awful character, but I love what Donald Sutherland did with him in the movie version.

DeleteOh dear, I ADORE Slade Wilson:). He's delightful and evil and just a little bit (okay a lot) yummy. Another favorite entry is all adults on The 100, lol. They are all just a little bit villainous. Brilliant idea to include The Donald as well - Douchebag indeed!

DeleteWho is the villain third from the top? It looks like Manu Bennett but I've only seen him in Spartacus (which he's awesome in).

That is Manu Bennett- he played Slade Wilson (Deathstroke) on arrow. He's a badass in that show.

Haha fantastic list! I like the "anyone who is an adult on 100" - they are all very weird, aren't they? Why would they act like that? But parents in YA books/series are often portrayed as the bad guys, it's just a common thing to do.

Great list! Even though I haven't read or seen all of the source material. Palpatine/the Emperor and Darth Vader both made my list. I like how you included "likable" villains; if I had done that, Loki (as played by Tom Hiddleston) would definitely have made the list, as would Magneto (especially as played by Michael Fassbender, but maybe also Ian McKellen.)

DeleteThis is the best list EVER. First, because of The 100- accurate. I was actually contemplating doing a list just to add them, but "maybe there ARE no good guys...." (which is to say, everyone would have been on a villain list at some point haha). I LOOOVE that you chose Snow (though I couldn't decide between Snow and Coin, and I felt like the latter was spoilery, even though by now, do spoilers count?) And YES to Eric. Is that his name? Idk but I hate him.

Aww, thanks! I had a lot of fun putting it together, and The 100 I just had to include the adults. I thought am I tarring them all with an unfair brush? Then nope, I couldn't really think of one adult on that show that wasn't an asshole at one point or another. I mean Pike alone could have been this list!
