Another week of reading and a good one too. I finished up City of the Lost and reviewed it on Thursday- so I'm on a roll there. Summer seems to have arrived and I spent time soaking up rays. What else this week? Let's see I discussed my favorite houses of Westeros (that was a fun topic) and wrapped up The 100 - and did anyone see last weeks shocking Game of Thrones?- I talked about that too. :)
This week was also my 50th Bookcover Spotlight so that kinda felt like a milestone. Maybe I'll even have a logo one of these days. COYER is starting up again and I did my intro post- and I won a giveaway over at Goodreads for At The Edge of Summer. Seems like a good title for this time of year.
Bloodline started last night and it's nice to re- enter that twisted world. And in the week ahead I'll talk about those books you just have to get and I'll be reviewing something-whatever I get up to reading. Oh and I'm still working on Trust Issues Part 3- hopefully that will be up soon.

I thought so too, something about that is just... off. :) In fact I thought about not using it, but... didn't feel like looking for another one. And thanks- I went for the longest time w/o winning a giveaway and then lately I've been lucky.

Great visual images and videos! Your cover of Clouds in My Coffee reminds me that I want to read this one soon...but I have three review books on tap this week. But who knows?

Congrats on the giveaway win! I'm looking forward to COYER this summer. Oh, I love the cover of Replica but I'm a little put off by the idea of the two-stories-in-one thing, plus I wasn't a fan of her Delirium series. I'm waiting to see what others think of it.

Thanks! I think COYER will be fun. I always find good reviews. And I'm not sure about Replica either- it might work really well, and it might not!

You'll be very excited for me Greg because when I went to the video store yesterday (one I belong to in my mother's hometown) they had Bloodline, so I'm gonna finally get to see it! Of course it's a 3-night loan and I was heading home today (Sunday) so I must plan it in advance for my next visit!

DeleteSince I haven’t been able to read, write or blog I have binge watching GoT! So it took me a while to remember what happened in the last episode ALL GoT episodes are shocking. I’ll make sure to visit all the posts I have missed these two weeks I’ve been MIA, especially the GoT ones. My favorite house would have to be the Starks!!! WINTER IS COMING!!! High-five for being on a roll! I think I'm finally going to start GoT - the show. Or maybe the first book. Ugh, I'm still so indecisive about it. And I'm SO feeling that Dorothy song right now.

ReplyDeleteI find the Summer Days and Summer Nights (and the winter one from a bit ago) interesting because of the authors, but I've not bothered picking them up because I'm such a fantasy girl.

ReplyDeleteI can't believe how fast this season of GoT is flying by! We're on episode 6 already, right? I'm very eager to see what goes down in KL tonight; from the preview that was shown after last week's ep (my heart's still recovering from THAT, lol), things looked pretty intense!
ReplyDeleteBloodline looks so good! My husband and I are watching The Blacklist right now but I think once we're done with that we're going to move on to Bloodline. I really enjoyed your City of the Lost review but than my browser crashed and I wasn't able to comment. I kind of thought all of Armstrong's books were paranormal so I found it interesting that this one wasn't. Have a great week!

ReplyDeleteI was at the library today and could not remember the name of that Kelley Armstrong book! Lol. I guess I could have googled it but I had the little guy and I was trying to finish up before he woke up. (napping in the stroller)
