I was about to say that the illustrator of this cover also did the Hardy Boys, to my eye, when I read that Katherine beat me to the punch! I think whoever this person is must have done many of the cover art for books from the '50s or so. Not sure of the pub date of your book above.
I love this cover! It's got a similar feel to the Nancy Drew and Hardy Boy covers which are always my favorite.
