We spent the week before last up north on vacation in the Traverse City, MI area and I'm finally getting around to getting some pics up. Here's a little snapshot of our time up there.
LOVELY butterfly photo. Is that a monarch, perched on a milkweed plant?
ReplyDeleteMy Saturday Snapshot post features CAFES.
Is that a monarch butterfly I spy?
ReplyDeleteI believe it is! I tried to catch it landing several times, and was about to give up but then I got the shot.
DeleteYes I've the same question. That looks like a Monarch butterfly.
ReplyDeleteI think it is. It was very beautiful, tried to get a close shot but it was tough... :)
DeleteOh, great pic and you captured a butterfly!

I think that is a monarch on milkweed! How fantastic to see that. It's extraordinary to think of these fragile beautiful creatures migrating as they do.
ReplyDeleteGreat picture - love how you captured the butterfly sitting on the flower!
ReplyDeleteLovely photo! I'm actually kinda terrified of butterflies haha, but I do love the beach!
