Teaser Tuesday #20 Au Revoir, Crazy European Chick
Teaser Tuesdays is hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading. To participate you grab your current read, open to a random page and share (2) teaser sentences from somewhere on that page. BE CAREFUL NOT TO INLUDE SPOILERS (Make sure what you share doesn't give too much away. You don't want to ruin the book for others). Share the title and author.
"I am not talking about a Broadway show with your parents and your little sister. I am talking about Manhattan at night with you. Do you understand the difference?"
"Are you serious?"
"Do I look like I am joking?"
Au Revoir, Crazy European Chick by Joe Schreiber
This is a fun book about a kid who has to take their Lithuanian exchange student to prom- and finds more than he bargained for when she turns out to be a lethal assassin! It's fast moving and full of craziness- just the kind of light read I need for a little break. And once they get to Manhattan- watch out!
You have my interest...I know the difference :)
ReplyDeleteYes there is a difference. :) I like their little exchange, she is trying to get him to take her into the city.
DeleteSounds like this could be fun - enjoy!
ReplyDeleteIt's a fun ride, gets a little over the top at the end but whatever. A quick read
DeleteFuN tt , Greg !
ReplyDeletedef sounds like a crazy FuN read - enjoy =)
It does get a little crazy, and over the top but it's not bad, I had fun with it.
DeleteGood teaser, sounds like a fun read! Mine: The Witness
ReplyDeleteIt was fun and something different, and lots of good quotes too!
DeleteI love that. A lethal assassin!!! What fun. I don't have a teaser this week but do have a author's guest post on character building. Guest Post
ReplyDeleteYes and she's quite the handful too- a little TOO much to be realistic but it was fun to see what she would do next.
DeleteI like your teaser. Sounds like a unique plot, even though a teenaged lethal assassin sounds unlikely. Could be entertaining anyhow.
ReplyDeleteMy Teaser is from A SLIGHT CHANGE OF PLAN.
She's actually a little older than that, and not really a student- just a cover. But yeah it gets implausible as it goes along. :) Thank for visiting!
DeleteI like the storyline of this book.
ReplyDeleteHi Nise! It was a lot of fun, the ending was a bit over the top but I just went with it. Doesn't take itself too seriously...
DeleteOoh sounds fun! Great teaser, and thanks for stopping by :)
ReplyDeleteIt was fun, and there's a sequel too which I just discovered. How cool is that? :) Hopefully it's as fun as the first one...
Deletee_e I'm not eligible to comment peoples, I'm sorry! But I was definitely appealed with the Nikita similarities part though... o_o
ReplyDeleteI did think it was much too fast for my taste.
It did remind me of La femme Nikita a bit... and I did have to suspend my disbelief... a LOT... at times. :)
DeleteWow. What a twist.
ReplyDeleteYeah I'm surprised this hasn't been done before... or it probably has in a different form. It was interesting... thank you for visiting!
