Well Thanksgiving has come and gone, and we're in the Christmas season now!  I hope everyone in the U.S. had a great Thanksgiving and that everyone had a good start to the holiday season.

I'm getting back into reading mode with some new acquisitions, that should revitalize my enthusiasm a bit. Starting the week off fresh with some new stuff...

    The travel posters and star wars episode VII posters are all awesome. So much fun to see them. Dangerous Women is a book I'm interested in, too. I hope you have a great week.

      Thank you! I didn't think Dangerous women was out yet, but there it was. A bit pricey, and a big book too. I bought it for the GRRM story... and yes the posters are really cool, i want a couple of them!

      Glad to hear it! It goes by so fast... I've read part of Martin's story, but I haven't looked at the other stories yet. It's a big one, 700 + pages...

    Ohhhh, The Vanishing Thief looks good. I'm going to have to check it out on Goodreads. And Ready Player One is on my TBR. Eventually I need to get to it.

    LOVED Ready Player One. I listened to it on audio and it was one of my favorites of last year!

      Wow, thats great. I have seen some very enthusiastic reviews... looking forward to getting into it. I should get into audio books- I don't do much of that and I would get a lot more reading done that way. :)

    Also I love those travel and promo posters, so cool! I really hope Disney does a good job with the new Star Wars. They've managed to keep Marvel on track (for now), so maybe they won't turn it into a Jar Jar free for all.
    I still need to start Martin's series...in fact I think I might go buy the first one now, so I don't have any real excuses not to.

      Thanks Michelle! I agree about the posters, loved some of those. I hope so too about Disney and Star Wars, I'm a little skeptical and hopeful at the same time about episode VII. I had always hoped they would continue the saga, and now they finally are... should be interesting to see!

      Good luck with Martin's stuff, they're long but good. The only problem with them is they've gotten so open- ended, hopefully he can tie it all together.

      I have too, had not even heard of it but saw some reviews...then there it was in the bookstore. :) So why not? Sounds like something I'd like.

      Thank you! You as well. Dangerous women is a big book, good grief 700+ pages I may read bits of it here and there (its short stories so its good for that)! My arm got sore carrying it around the bookstore... :)
